  1. Yep. It's not there any more though. I think it was The Live Lounge, then I think it's something else/closed now.....
  2. I can go one better, I know (roughly) where he lives.....
  3. A bit of a strange one, that. Can't we ask Brentford fans what they think of Hogan?
  4. Here is the City is an absolute joke, to be fair....
  5. I hid them over an hour ago, you'd obviously quoted them too quickly! Which is most unlike you, to be fair!
  6. Assombalonga and Austin would be great signings, but the latter has had a few injuries, to be fair. But then, so had Mulgrew and he's mostly been fit since he's been here. I'd much rather we signed either of the above than Gallagher, being honest, Assombalonga would be the jackpot for me. They're both on big wages allegedly and any concerns about us not being able to afford them are perfectly valid. Given our financial problems under Venky's, it's hardly any wonder people don't want us going bankrupt and have concerns about what players earn/will cost us to sign. There is a possibility we will end up with nobody. If Austin or Assmobalonga decide to go somewhere else and we are unable to land Gallagher for example. The negative vs positive thing is far too simplistic and everyone is allowed their viewpoint. Like I said before, you aren't going to get rationality or read everything you want to this close to the end of the transfer window. Ultimately, what does it matter what someone thinks on the internet that you've never met?
  7. I'd hardly say there's any negativity, people are just discussing all the possible outcomes, as Revidge Blue succinctly did earlier: 1- We sign BA 2- We sign CA 3- We sign SG 4- We sign Nobody If you're after rationality or overwhelming positivity, I wouldn't suggest going on a football team's message board this close to the end of the transfer window!
  8. '4000 Holes in Blackburn, Lancashire'. It's a reference to that line in 'The Beatles- A Day In The Life'. I really don't think there's any more to it than that, tbh. Failing that, you could always just Google it?
  9. What they're allegedly paying some players in the second division would make your hair curl.....
  10. A few comments about our wage structure, but let's be fair, none of us are on the board, so we've no idea what people are on, so any comments suggesting so are speculation at best, really. Remember, there have been a number of contract renewals following promotion and if those didn't include pay rises, I'll plait fog!! Assombalonga would be a hell of a signing, but assuming it's on loan until the end of the season at 50% of his estimated 'Boro wages of £50k per week, then that would still be a fair bit, but it could work in the favour of both parties really.
  11. Please don't mention strikers and wings, you'll be giving Mowbray ideas.....
  12. It definitely could though I think. Goal line technology has already been a success. It just needs to be done a bit more quickly. I don't get why it has to be done by someone in a room miles away, rather than someone at the ground with a monitor, pitch side....
  13. Definitely is needed, just needs to be executed better is all. I'm sure if Rovers were in the play off final and conceded a 90th minute handball goal that VAR could have been spotted, you wouldn't want it then either......
  14. As much as I’d be into us signing Assombalonga, it seems unrealistic financially, but I hope it isn’t! As an aside though, Pulis is playing Jordan Hugill instead of him. He must have lost his mind!
