  1. But we do and we actually wanted rid of the thing due to its misuse. Seems we can’t win? ?‍♂️
  2. I’d say so, yeah. The way I see the Brereton signing is that I wouldn’t expect him to start as he isn’t better than Graham currently, who is the best striker at the club. It’s not really an over reaction to query why our most expensive signing in years isn’t playing when Graham is out though. Particularly when we’re playing our best player in Dack out of position in order to do so.... If we simply say ‘trust Mowbray’ or whatever, then there would be no need for a message board. His decisions are discussed by fans of the club he manages on the internet, just like every other football club in the world. We aren’t unique.
  3. Medium sized club with a decent fan base considering our catchment area. I’m sure that was what you meant ?.
  4. They’ve both been hideously bad I think it’s fair to say. Think we’d both agree they should never have gotten rid of McCarthy. Better the devil you know and all that....
  5. He’s started terribly there and they’re definitely going down, that much is obvious. Their squad is absolutely appalling though. I don’t think I could name one of their players! Mowbray had a better squad to work with here when he first started.
  6. All the ones you can see us replacing (which I agree we would need to long term in order to progress) have all recently signed new deals, bar Williams, haven’t they?
  7. Not sure who else they could have appointed in reality, they’ve got a terrible squad. Shows that McCarthy worked wonders with what he had there!
  8. At the start of the game, we’d have taken a draw, I suppose. However, from the position we were in, it’s incredibly frustrating that we missed chances then ended up conceding. Incredibly frustrating that we can’t take our chances and finish a team off with a man less for most of the game. Disappointing in that regard, but I suppose we didn’t lose....
  9. Come on Mowbray, they’re a man light, let’s get at them! Armstrong’s pace?
  10. We’ve had some good results away from home this season and Boro will be fired up for a win after last week. I think we’ll nick a draw tbh.
  11. I don’t give out my number to just anyone!
  12. To be fair, Mercer has a point, Dack is hardly going to slag off the manager to the official site, is he? That said, I've no reason to doubt Dack loves Mowbray and I'd imagine that is very much the case. He's played the best football of his career and also at his highest level to date and that has been under Mowbray. Not to mention all the stuff with the court case where Mowbray has stood by him and initially kept that quiet. Dack and Mowbray both have a lot to thank each other for.
  13. Nobody is down for it, so feel free to take it away, Andy! The floor is yours!
  14. I'll bet we aren't paying as much for Palmer's wages as Derby were last season and that will be on Chelsea's mind.....
  15. Have to admit, I think Klopp was being a little bitch (surprising, I know) about some of the challenges on Wednesday. He even admitted that one of the Burnley players had won the ball for god's sake! Either way, I'm glad they beat Burnley, so thanks for that, Jurgen!
  16. I can't stand them at all and I don't suppose I'll ever forgive them for what they've done. I still think us stumbling across Mowbray was a happy accident, but I'm certainly glad it's happened. Re Balaji's son, to be fair to him, he looks quite young and when they made their initial series of howlers in the first few years of their ownership, how young must he have been? I doubt he had much (if any) input at all at that time, so I don't think he deserves pelters for attending a match, in fairness..... If they continue to stay out of the way, I suppose I can just about tolerate their existence and that's the best I can do!

  18. From that ‘note from the chairman’- I also noticed a recent report by Alan Nixon in The Sun claiming that SCC/Heathcote’s were about to issue us with a writ for £350,000. This is total nonsense and at the time of writing no money is overdue to them. Alan Nixon and total nonsense in the same paragraph, who’d have thought it, eh? ?
  19. Seen this reported elsewhere this morning, his agent is being a busy boy....
  20. The Sun have got form for lying and that link was half about him going out with some gimp from Love Island, but yeah, can’t see it myself....
