  1. Hang on a minute, it was raised and the club were given a hard time from a few members of the forum. We can’t help Waggott not being there in fairness.
  2. He wasn’t at the last Fans Forum, but as reported in the minutes, the club said it was cost cutting.
  3. Just the kind of game United have been losing in recent times. Any team knows that if you get stuck into them early days, they can easily crumble and concede 2 or 3.
  4. We don’t have the most fickle fans in the league, in fact I think we have some of the most patient, given what’s happened over the last 12 years. What is unique about Rovers fans seems to be how many are quick to blame our fans for being annoyed and not the owners/administration for annoying them. Very strange indeed.
  5. Of course people would mind, but it would be less of an issue, as we’d still sell tickets owing to a bigger pool of people to draw from. I’m not sure why this is so hard for you to grasp. Also, it does you or anyone else no favours just labelling any criticism a meltdown. Just comes across as another attempt to shut down discussion…
  6. Bigger catchment area, more people to draw from- therefore, more demand.
  7. Yep, can mention the first part. The second part, happy to raise this again, but believe me, I’ve mentioned it before and I agree for what it’s worth. Wait times seem to have improved in Jack Walker upper, can’t speak for other stands, though!
  8. I get why they would do that, but I just think people should take some comments with a pinch of salt on here. People can always be impulsive during the match, but it fundamentally doesn’t matter. Everyone has a right to their opinion, no matter how daft it may appear. I think the bigger issue is the lack of contrition a lot of the time. There aren’t many ‘you know what, I got that one wrong’ posts. Pride comes before (and after) a fall and all that…
  9. My thought this half- Crooks offside for their goal, Dolan should have had a penalty, we’re making hard work of this.
  10. The Liverpool defending for that Wolves goal was practically non-existent. Neto ran through 3 of them when there was nothing on and Robertson was asleep at the far post. Such a preventable goal.
  11. On a par with Martinez? Jesus. Very big statement there. I don’t think you’ll find many agreeing with you on that one.
  12. People are re defining words again to suit their argument. For me- abuse would be personal- I.E- Harry Maguire is a f***ing c**t. Criticism is more like what is happening here. I.E- Harry Maguire isn’t very good at football (a watered down version of what people say, but you get the idea). It’s all legitimate too to be fair. He isn’t playing for his club, but still gets picked for England. That is historically unprecedented, as playing for your club would have been a pre requisite for playing for England, but now, obviously Southgate has his favourites (or players he trusts), so that’s something new for people to get used to.
  13. Absolutely. I’ll give credit where it’s due, to have pretty much sealed qualification in that group is no mean feat!
  14. Is Maguire better than any other centre halves at United though? Christ, even Lindelof gets in ahead of him these days. The final insult was surely Shaw playing ahead of him at centre half last season.
  15. Kane being on his toes rather than his heels, towards the end of the second half and he’s got a tap in.
  16. I couldn’t possibly say, I don’t follow them very closely tbf.
  17. Tell you what though, Bellingham is some player. I remember people taking the piss out of Birmingham for retiring his shirt number. Brum not looking so silly now, eh? (The last bit is tongue in cheek, btw).
  18. Very comfortable so far, surprised how poor Scotland have been tbf. Particularly when you consider how well they’ve done in qualifying!
  19. Look at the positives though, Mason Mount couldn’t be picked as he’s injured. I hope there still aren’t people that think Mason Mount is better than James Maddison. That must be embarrassing for them. (Just to be clear, I’m not wishing injury on anyone!)
  20. Cracked me up when they were eating that ketchup. ‘Mix it with the relish’. Haha.
  21. Been re watching The Sopranos and finally caught up with the Pine Barrens episode. There can’t be many better pieces of TV than that in history. ‘16 Czezhoslovakians’.
  22. It was nice of him to finally pick Maddison tbh. Lad’s a proper player.
  23. Existing thread was even on the same page… Either way, they’re now merged.
