  1. My thought this half- Crooks offside for their goal, Dolan should have had a penalty, we’re making hard work of this.
  2. The Liverpool defending for that Wolves goal was practically non-existent. Neto ran through 3 of them when there was nothing on and Robertson was asleep at the far post. Such a preventable goal.
  3. On a par with Martinez? Jesus. Very big statement there. I don’t think you’ll find many agreeing with you on that one.
  4. People are re defining words again to suit their argument. For me- abuse would be personal- I.E- Harry Maguire is a f***ing c**t. Criticism is more like what is happening here. I.E- Harry Maguire isn’t very good at football (a watered down version of what people say, but you get the idea). It’s all legitimate too to be fair. He isn’t playing for his club, but still gets picked for England. That is historically unprecedented, as playing for your club would have been a pre requisite for playing for England, but now, obviously Southgate has his favourites (or players he trusts), so that’s something new for people to get used to.
  5. Absolutely. I’ll give credit where it’s due, to have pretty much sealed qualification in that group is no mean feat!
  6. Is Maguire better than any other centre halves at United though? Christ, even Lindelof gets in ahead of him these days. The final insult was surely Shaw playing ahead of him at centre half last season.
  7. Kane being on his toes rather than his heels, towards the end of the second half and he’s got a tap in.
  8. I couldn’t possibly say, I don’t follow them very closely tbf.
  9. Tell you what though, Bellingham is some player. I remember people taking the piss out of Birmingham for retiring his shirt number. Brum not looking so silly now, eh? (The last bit is tongue in cheek, btw).
  10. Very comfortable so far, surprised how poor Scotland have been tbf. Particularly when you consider how well they’ve done in qualifying!
  11. Look at the positives though, Mason Mount couldn’t be picked as he’s injured. I hope there still aren’t people that think Mason Mount is better than James Maddison. That must be embarrassing for them. (Just to be clear, I’m not wishing injury on anyone!)
  12. Cracked me up when they were eating that ketchup. ‘Mix it with the relish’. Haha.
  13. Been re watching The Sopranos and finally caught up with the Pine Barrens episode. There can’t be many better pieces of TV than that in history. ‘16 Czezhoslovakians’.
  14. It was nice of him to finally pick Maddison tbh. Lad’s a proper player.
  15. Existing thread was even on the same page… Either way, they’re now merged.
  16. I don’t think people have a lack of belief in JDT, but you say ‘more doom and gloom from Rovers fans’ as though we’re unique. I’m surprised people would be delighted with the end to the window tbh, we’re still a fair way short, in terms of numbers and experience.
  17. 3-0 loss at a newly promoted side isn’t good however it’s spun. Good to see we’re still capable of pressing self destruct so effectively though….
  18. I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen someone request an apology on here and I’m a moderator! I hope this doesn’t become a trend…
  19. 6 out of 10 for me. Could be better, could be worse. I think the Buckley departure could be a mistake, especially if we get some injuries in the middle of the park. I think we are a little bit short overall and we do need some very good luck with injuries this year.
  20. Crock- someone who is regularly injured. Crocked- someone who is currently injured, but otherwise has a decent record of not being injured.
  21. Sad that people are more focussed on scoring points than us winning 6-0. Not every day we win away like this! Even against lower league teams!
  22. 2 goals and an assist for Buckley- think he needed that! Man’s on a hat trick!
  23. It is shit, but then, let’s say it’s a sell out and they’re taking the place of some Harrogate fans that can’t sit in their home end. Boot on the other foot, we’d all be fuming, tbf.
