Well, you would….. Don’t forget, under these owners, every time we don’t think it can get any worse, it does. ’We can’t get any worse than Henning Berg. We can’t get any worse than Michael Appleton’. ’Well, he’s a bad player, but he can’t be any worse than Elliott Ward’. The main point was that I think Gestede would be a worse CEO than Waggott and I don’t rate the latter at all.

Got the job done, I think whilst Foden has had a poor season, that was the worse I’ve seen him play for England. Rashford not much better. Konsa had a good goal saving block, nobody really looked that good, but we didn’t lose or concede, so it’s something to build on, I guess!

Don’t think we’ve been all that in the second half, but can’t fault being 2 up without reply tbf.

I was 11, so didn't get on the beers. Watched it in my front room, then ran over to the park across the road to celebrate with other blue and white children in the area. I thought that title win would be one of many, so I didn't savour it nearly enough. Oh to be young! 😅.
