It’s Chelsea, the new one, like the old one, seem to be pretty trigger happy….
-
Legitimately can’t remember Chelsea being this poor for a long time. It’a not all Potter’s fault, granted and they do have a big injury list, but the fact remains, they look completely rudderless.

If Everton fans wouldn’t want Sean Dyche over Lampard, they’re more clueless and entitled than I gave them credit for. An experienced manager who did an incredible job with that lot, or someone who hasn’t really done much anywhere, but was a hell of a player in the not too distant past…

It absolutely baffles me that anyone listens to anything Nixon has to say any more.

Fans Forum meeting on Monday, I’ll be there either in person, or on zoom (owing to work commitments)- fire me a PM if you’ve anything you would like me to raise in your behalf. (I’ve plenty of my own to add in the ‘first team matters’ part already!) Cheers. -
Funnily enough, that’s what we need at the minute, we aren’t just goal shy, we are shot shy too!
-
‘Hey Vincent, give us an easy win for the camera’ He’s only being captain obvious and playing to the crowd…
-
They’ve got one, they don’t start him, then sub him on and then off in the same match….

I read about this before, I had no idea that the Reyna family had grassed him up or the Gio Reyna stuff, madness! Whilst he is the boss, I don’t think you can be telling someone they will have a ‘limited role’ without really giving them the chance to play if someone else is doing badly. He starts for Dortmund and can’t get in the USMNT 😶. -
Hell fire Everton, from one extreme to another. Whilst I don’t think Lampard is much of a manager, even Ancelotti couldn’t get much more of a tune out of those lot…

They’re just had a break for the World Cup. I’ll bet they’re all champing at the bit to be involved! I don’t think I’d rest anyone bar Ayala, as he’s prone to an injury or two… -
I like the city of Liverpool and have no issue with its residents. Liverpool FC though, no thank you.
-
If anyone was that assed about the weather in Norwich, I’m sure they could find history or some photographic evidence on the internet, it shouldn’t be that difficult. Our pitch has been absolutely awful on a few occasions over the last few years, this isn’t a one off.

Liverpool beaten 3-1 at Brentford. Shame that…
-
How could we know? Markanday has barely played for the first team and Gallagher has scored for the first team before…

Watford at home. -
I rate Potter as a manager, but I think that is turning out to be a poor career move for him so far. They look toothless up front and susceptible to pressure at the back.

JDT has been in football long enough to know that you are judged on the here and now, as things happen. Otherwise, message boards, highlights shows and social media pages would be completely pointless. I’m buzzing that we are third and certainly don’t want the manager sacked, but I really don’t like his dampening down of expectation that has happened and JDT harking back to the project when things go pear shaped. We must be the only club in the world that wants to get promoted in our own time, rather than ASAP. It’s not that deep, some people just have different opinions. You’ve got to remember too, message boards can be very reactive and emotional, particularly immediately after poor defeats. -

It’s fair enough to not think we are in the promotion shake up, but why not just say ‘we aren’t expected to go up, but we will do our best to make it happen’. Instead of some nonsense about respecting the project. What about respecting the fans and wanting to win football matches. If the aim isn’t to win as many football matches and instead to add value to players and to continue a project- what’s the point? As I said the other day, I support Rovers, not the balance sheet. -

I suspect it’s been a culmination of being sick of us being shite under Venky’s and our own manager talking our promotion chances down in the press. Imagine reading that as a player… -
Funnily enough, I think Armstrong would do well here at the minute. He tends to shoot a lot and as a team, we don’t at present.
