  1. At 2 weeks’ notice? In the middle of the school holidays? Has nobody got children where you work?
  2. Round of applause for them doing the bare minimum 🥴.
  3. Depends on what you think defines a big club. Their trophy hauls aren’t huge, but their fan bases are tbf. (Obviously Sheffield a far bigger place than Blackburn, same goes for their catchment area, before anyone says).
  4. Aussies looking strong here. Smith and Labuschagne need getting out asap.
  5. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/football/man-city-s-season-ticket-prices-compared-with-rest-of-the-premier-league/ar-AA1d472i?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=7bd943e6327a43b6af0a2f9fae74af21&ei=7&rc=1 You can watch last season’s treble winners for less than you can watch Rovers…
  6. I think they must have. I’ve been to one England game in my life (USA @ Wembley, 2018) and I always get emails with links to priority booking….
  7. I find it fascinating that the obvious is right in front of you and you’re completely blind to it, in all honesty.
  8. He would if he ever got on the pitch. Southgate seems to fear him and a few other flair players.
  9. Not disputing that, but he’s not better than Foden- not by a long stretch.
  10. Just because they’ve committed to it, doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. As we lost, it obviously hasn’t worked, has it?
  11. You drunk again?
  12. So do pretty much all the pundits on there…
  13. Must admit, I cheered very loudly in the car when Stokes bowled Khawaja! (Apologies to anyone who was having a nice drink outside The Emporium).
  14. Not true, it’s the owners’ call.
  15. Waggott is on record as saying the owners won’t have a gambling sponsor on moral grounds. (He was about 10 feet away from me when he said that). But, they’ve no problem with a vaping firm. I can see both sides of the argument re vaping tbh, so I’m not touching that one. I don’t know how much we’re getting from the sponsorship, but I can understand concerns from people about it being lazy on Waggott’s part, given how local they are. After all, we’ve taken the easy route with the catering by outsourcing it. So who’s to say we have or haven’t done the same with Totally Wicked? As long as they’re paying the same as (or even more than) other sponsors would be, I’m not bothered really. I’d hate to see us lose out on more sponsorship money, just because someone at the club was feeling lazy.
  16. Main problem I have with the Totally Wicked sponsorship is their logo- it looks absolutely toss.
  17. Rahm and McIlroy were offered £200 Million to join LIV, they turned it down, then LIV ultimately merged with the PGA Tour anyhow. Rahm has spoken about wanting to be compensated, as he’s £200 Million down for staying with a tour that ultimately merged with the rival one anyway. The lad’s got a point tbf.
  18. I can’t see us winning this series, though I’d love to be wrong. I feel like ‘Baz ball’ will play into the hands of the Aussies, unfortunately.
  19. I think it’s more not understanding when people say ‘they don’t give a shit’ but comment anyway. If I didn’t care about something, I wouldn’t comment about it….
  20. You have enough of a shite to comment though, eh?
  21. They do the bare minimum as owners and there are only such big losses, because of their negligence. I’m not showing any gratitude for that I’m afraid.
  22. That’s not what I was replying to though. Chaddy asked what could make the match day experience better- I replied better food and drink. I said that it would be better for the club to offer better food and drink on match days. If non league clubs can offer street food and craft beers, there’s no reason that Rovers can’t.
  23. Messi is a tourism ambassador for Saudi Arabia, so don’t think that will be much of an issue for him. He already has a gaff in Miami apparently, so that one seems to make sense there….
  24. All this talk of money City have spent since Sheikh Mansour came on board, ignores the fact that Chelsea and Man United have spent a fair bit more in that time….
