I think the phrase ‘blowing your own trumpet’ would be applicable here. I never got that vibe from said poster previously, but he seemed to lack the gift of humility in a big way. Either way, I don’t think they’ll be back.

Our fan base isn’t unique, we’re the same as everyone else. That being said, we do seem to have a fair few fans, such as yourself, keen to give us a kicking for some reason….

Just to be clear, I really do rate Declan Rice as a player and I think his improvement in the last 3 years has been great to watch, certainly from an England POV. But, he’s still a way to go to be mentioned as one of the greats in his position. Maybe going to a behemoth of a club will get him there…

This whole situation is a complete shambles. Like others, I feel for McIlroy! What the hell happens with the Ryder Cup selection now? One thing is for sure, I can’t see the PFA top boy surviving this. His credibility is shot.

If people can get all the sport, films and television they could possibly need for £60 per year, or pay Sky, Amazon, BT, Netflix- spend £100 a month and get less content, it’s absolutely no wonder anyone is tempted.

They were level on league titles with Man United when the PL started in 1992. They’re a more successful Newcastle in reality. Their fan base is absolutely massive.

Just relief, innit? Admittedly though, they should be doing better as a club. I must admit though, I don’t get the dislike for Everton. Decent club with a big fan base, they aren’t Liverpool, I might be biased as I’ve got Evertonians in the family, but I’d rather they stopped up than Leeds. That lot can foxtrot Oscar.
