Whenever I’ve seen them, they don’t look like they’re parking the bus, they are trying to score, they just don’t have enough up front. They’re well wasteful in front of goal. That Esteve at centre half is absolutely superb though, as much as it pains me to say it.

As it seems like a few are excavating the past at the moment, I'll confess, I saw nothing in this guy for a long time and had almost totally written him off. Luckily, I'm not arrogant enough not to have my mind changed on things and I'm happy to admit I got it wrong. The lad has been a colossus and a real warrior of late and I'm delighted for him. He could end up being pivotal for us in the run in. It's also great to see from his POV, as he's evidently quite a confidence player.

There's absolutely no need for the bit in bold. When the e-mail was received, regarding the cancellation news, there was a huge shift in tone. I'm obviously not going to divulge exactly what other members have said, as that would betray their confidence, but fans were seriously angry.

A lot of people already trying to shift all of the blame onto Eustace, 'well, everyone knows what Venky's are like', as thought it excuses them. For goodness' sake, if they'd given him the significant investment they claimed, (rather than gaslighting the fanbase) and a pay rise for doing well at his job (which any of us would expect in our own lines of work for the same), then none of this would have happened. All the manager speak about 'togetherness' is just platitudes. The club are aiming to shift focus from their own failures onto a perceived lack of loyalty from our soon to be former manager and by God, people are falling into the trap. Yes, he shouldn't be leaving for a team in 22nd and using family as an excuse, as though Blackburn Rovers have played anywhere else than Blackburn in the last 150 years, but if our owners and their underlings did their jobs properly, we'd be hot on the heels of the teams above us, instead of doing our annual mid season nose dive.
