There are absolutely concerns about a lot of things with us right now and they’re concerns that I share and have highlighted. That said, he’s not even been here six months.

I’m glad the last two posters can see the light thankfully. People were absolutely fuming about two consecutive no-shows and put the blame on the manager for forcing us to play a certain way, as it costs us goals. To be fair, there were maybe a handful of posters questioning the gospel according to JDT and his position. But ironically, it was an over reaction to an over reaction and people decided fans were jumping the gun in wanting the manager gone. When barely anyone called for his head, more they were fuming that we played so badly and avoidably against two of our most local rivals….

Terry Hall from The Specials has died, aged 63. One of my favourite bands, so this one hits a bit different. I’m blessed to have been able to see them live a few years ago with the full line up.

Genuinely can’t remember people saying to change half the team, but I remember people criticising us playing about at the back. Hardly factually incorrect.

I think people are doing the classic of mistaking frustration at recent results and performances with not backing the manager. Not sure why it happens so much, but it does.

Absolutely. Against Italy, it was blatantly obvious they kept coming on stronger and we allowed it to happen. It was crying out for someone to put their foot on the ball and stop them. A real shame that we got so close and effectively bottled it.

What I don’t get on the adding value thing, is that it is brought up by the club far more often than talk of winning matches. So presumably, they think it’s more important…. What a way to run a club…

Absolutely no need for melodrama of this nature.

I think it all comes down to what’s more important for JDT. His ego and forcing us to play a way that we don’t have the players for. Or, three points for the team. Hoping he gets over himself, bins this pointless, suicide football, gains some pragmatism and we give a good account of ourselves.

Southgate has done a lot right since he’s been manager and he’s made the national team likeable again. But, it’s another familiar story of us coming out on the wrong side of the fine margins, again. If Southgate were to leave the England job, I doubt he’s get a PL job and for me, that speaks volumes.
