I never expected us to compete with Bournemouth financially, as they’ve still got parachute payments. But, I did expect us to at least try and strengthen the squad from the position we were in. Injuries are inevitable and need to be expected. As it happened, nobody we signed in January really made any difference, if we are completely honest.
