What I find the most bizarre about Dack not being picked to start is that JDT played in the same position as him as a player!

Wigan just want it more- 50-50s become 80-20s. If we lose, but we graft, I can live with that. The lack of desire is very difficult to take though.

Enjoying winning every other match, not enjoying the Jekyll and Hyde nature of our matches though.

Whilst the playing out from the back was incredibly frustrating last night, what was most concerning for me was how wide open we were. Cardiff were able to get in very good positions with relative ease. I think it was partly down to being over run in midfield, but if that’s the case, then it needs to change and sharpish. Bit worrying that JDT didn’t act on that tbh.

Dack should have wrestled that ball from Hirst, but even then, that’s a terrible penalty.

The ref didn’t let that goal in or back off their players all night tbf. He gave us a pen which we then fluffed.

Nice finish, but yet another chance we’ve gifted to them. Absolutely fucking woeful from our lads. Let’s see if we are capable of waking up- but I’ve got my doubts based on the 83 minutes of this match so far.

Probs because the criticism then was unreasonable, now it’s completely justified.

We don’t seem that keen on contesting 50-50s either. Almost like we don’t even bother challenging for them, as though they’re beneath us….

We are so lucky Cardiff have been so toothless this half- we’ve offered nothing. We need to get to half time unscathed and make some changes, urgently.

Seems unlikely, given that no manager in any of the teams in the three divisions above agrees though.
