Think you’re a bit harsh on Gerard at Villa there. His start was very good, but he has tailed off in the last month or so, before winning at weekend.

Don’t get me wrong, we were unfortunate with Markanday getting a serious injury pretty much right away, but you don’t need the benefit of hindsight to know that playing a LWB at RW when he’s never played there before probably wouldn’t get the most out of him….
