Well in my hotel room pondering just how poor half the team were yesterday. Ecstatic after 7 mins replaced by utter rejection and the most dismal of performances. Bennett raya Evans were awful the midfield were overrun and didn’t win any second balls. Conway should not be near the team he is past it. The defence were woeful and Raya needs shooting for that stupid mistake he made. Rant over off for breakfast and the train!

It amazes me people keep papping on about us spending 7 million on Brereton, fomth final time WE HAVENT spent that amount YET. The deal is based on clauses along with a cash payment over the terms of the deal. It’s unlikely we have handed over 3 mill at this current point in time!

Some great memories of visiting the hotel that was Boothferry Park and a fab chippy near the away end. Tough game and would be happy with a draw due to their current run of free scoring football, however if they are missing Bowen then I would fancy us to sneak it JUST COYB

Sick of reading the negative comments about Brereton unless you watch him day in and out and you know a thing about being a striker then believe me, he will become a huge star and in fact I think he could be the man to beat Garners goal scoring record he is THAT good. Rovers defenders and defensive midfielders can’t seem to understand the basic ethos of Row Z and the opposition can’t attack instead we saw a whole host of pathetic attempts to clear the ball. Standing off players allows the ball to be crossed and we do 5is far too often and this is what now sees us looking over our shoulders instead of looking ahead. By my count we have lost somewhere in the region of 13 points from decent positions that would have seen us already mathematically safe from the drop and looking at the top 6 rather than a scrap amongst the bottom 10. Finally fir this calling for TM to be sacked give your bloody heads a wobble and stay away

There is still hysteria on this forum. We have 29 points in the bag already, that is a solid base imo to progress through a December tough series of matches and into the new year. great result and much better across the board

Continuity is the main thing, staff and players all signed up to new deals gives a solid base to further the club

A very difficult game for Rovers on the back of 2 away derby thrashings. TM and co have to get this right from the 1st minute. Dack will be marked out if the game as the opposition know he makes us tick therefore we need a plan b which I don’t think we have. 3-5-2 for me we might sneak a scrappy win but would take a draw, defeat is not an option

Just back in Westhoughton let me say that that was the most abject display since Coyle was sacked. Truly abysmal from the 1st minute. Wrong formation, wrong team and not one player seemed to know his position or how the team was set up to play. wigan kicked us off the park with ease, they harried bullied and made that count at the right moment. Have to say that Vaughan should have been sent off in the first minute so bad was his challenge, and indeed the ref didn’t do himself any favours after that. Something isn’t quite right but it better change before we find ourselves down the bottom of the table. Worst thing of the night was seeing Williams lack of basic defensive knowledge just after we had scored and that from an international player. Total shocker

Wiggin have two very tall and gangly centre halves and thismisnthenreason why I would have Brereton on th edit however from the off, his pace will worry them alongside the guild of Graham. Play Dack just behind them and go with a 3-5-2 formation as wiggin will almost certainly play Grigg on his own up front. Venturing to the game parking is awful but there are plenty of side streets on the opposite side of the canal as you walk from the centre towards the ground. Just watch out for the mounds of dog turds!

I can imagine those in office looking at this team and the performances and thinking just how much they fooked up. Come on ladies ram it straight down their pompous throats⚽️⚽️

Think Wigan have similar issues to what we see on here! will some on here just grow up and respect others who have differing opinions to yours! On to the game it will be a tough one would love to see us win but think it has a draw written all over it!

Re drinking around Preston. If you’ve got colours on you’ve virtually no chance of getting in any pub. Tbh apart from the city centre there isn’t a lot of choic as Preston’s a knob hole in any case, stay in the outskirts, brig, leyland and Walton le dale areas will be fine and bus it into town. Enjoy the day and bring the points home⚽️
