  1. Bolton away the worst? Surely turd moor away visits were much worse for violence and aggravation. I was there when both Bolton and Chelsea took the Blackburn end but those games would never beat the day when Rovers took the bee hole end and when we had the long side ding dong on Boxing Day, I never saw either Bolton or Chelsea fans trying to throw concrete dividers across the void such was or is the hatred!
  2. Where did the doggedness, running off the ball, creativity and forward pressing football come from last night that has been missing in the last 11 games or so? IF we had played just half as good as last night during the last 8 weeks we would have beaten most of the opposition teams and would have seen us sitting comfortably in the top 6 preparing for a play off competition! Last night showed the levels we are capable of with the right TEAM and formation on the pitch. I was expecting a loss versus a very good Derby team what we saw was Rovers simply overpowering a team, smothering their play, winning the second ball and challenge after challenge. Well done TM and well done Rovers, it was a class performance across the board. With a little tinkering for next season we may have just witnessed the beginning of our top flight return IF the manager is backed and gets the right defender to line up alongside Lenahan who was immense apart from missing a sitter!
  3. That was pretty damn excruciating at times. Negatives - Smallwood Evans Bennett Mulgrew Bell. First 2 were awful Smallwood does nothing but wreak havoc in our own midfield, Bennett has more lead in his legs than a shrapnel crater and Mulgrew is just a injury laden passenger. Positives - we won’t see Rodwell or Reed next season, we passed back more times than Lowe ever did, we play better without Mulgrew in the side. the midfield was shocking, Mowbray what were you thinking? Static and lacking creativity. off for a Chinese and a lager
  4. It’s a great idea Chaddy
  5. I’ll simplify my view Raya is a problem keeper who does not command the 6 yard box. Great shot stopper but that’s it! Time for a goalkeeping change for the rest of the season pack Raya off for his nose job and get him back fitter after a big close season work out.
  6. Will be renewing but like others on here I’ve missed a few through holidays and other reasons and will probably miss additional games next season as well.
  7. Keyboard warrior is a clown and deserves all he gets, moron
  8. As usual there is a lot of drivel on here! It was a must not lose/must win game, we won and took the 3 points. Happy with the result and it breaks a horrid last few games where results have all gone against us and we have picked up injury after injury, that’s football, we get on with it and we move forward. This season was about cementing our spot in this division, it was never going to be easy, look at both Wigan and Rotherham for evidence of that. It was about pure consolidation anything else, anything higher than the bottom 3 was acceptable, it was/is progress. No good moaning about anything else, we need 3 points to secure our position and after last season and the one before, it’s positive progress. So get over the whingeing and whining, stop moping and get behind the team for the rest of the season. I am sure there is some big plans in place for next season and I am certainly sure TM can take us up another notch with the right backing. Backing that includes the fan base. Yes it’s been awful, yes, we have been in the cusp of an unexpected play off spot but let’s be real, we are not that far off the likes of PNE who have done nothing but float over us like they have won the league YET we are just 4 points off them. So come on guys (and girls and whatever), get over your criticisms and get on with following and supporting our team. It could be worse we could be in Wigan’s position???
  9. At times this was diabolical for Rovers fans to watch. My issues today? bennett is NOT a left back so why play him there? williams cannot defend so why play him? smallwood is not a Championship player so why continue to persevere with him? playing Armstrong our wide isn’t working so why continue? The team set up was totally wrong. The back 4 should have been Nyambe Mulgrew Another and Bell. the central midfield should have been Evans and Travis the attacking positions should have been Bennett, Reed and Dack with Graham up front. Smallwood leave Evans too exposed, Armstrong leaves the full back exposed, Williams is a calamity waiting to happen. Tony its time to drop the loyalty to some of the players look how much trouble Nuttall caused when he came on it’s time to change your view
  10. Pathetic is the only suitable word to use for that non performance and loss.
  11. It will be a tough game Reading are in must win mode now. Rovers need freshening up a little through the middle. Would happily take a draw but something in me thinks we might just nick a result
  12. One word sums it up today pathetic
  13. Great night out after that game! Met some great people around Brentford although I’ve no idea what we ate at the curry house????????
  14. Well in my hotel room pondering just how poor half the team were yesterday. Ecstatic after 7 mins replaced by utter rejection and the most dismal of performances. Bennett raya Evans were awful the midfield were overrun and didn’t win any second balls. Conway should not be near the team he is past it. The defence were woeful and Raya needs shooting for that stupid mistake he made. Rant over off for breakfast and the train!
  15. We are Blackburn Rovers back the team the club and each and every player who dons the shirt (exceptions were Andrews and Lowe?)
  16. Really looking forward to night out on the town of Brentford and hopefully celebrating 3 points but would happily take a draw. ????
  17. It amazes me people keep papping on about us spending 7 million on Brereton, fomth final time WE HAVENT spent that amount YET. The deal is based on clauses along with a cash payment over the terms of the deal. It’s unlikely we have handed over 3 mill at this current point in time!
  18. Some great memories of visiting the hotel that was Boothferry Park and a fab chippy near the away end. Tough game and would be happy with a draw due to their current run of free scoring football, however if they are missing Bowen then I would fancy us to sneak it JUST COYB
  19. Will some give Brereton a chance he is 19ffs
  20. Not concerned about the result at all. Fir me Conway is no longer good enough for our team, Smallwood, although he improved, began the game awfully as did Bell. we move on
  21. Tough place to go great result. Gutted that I missed both goals as had to get to our reservation at a local restaurant but it made my night.
  22. Dack to bumley? Now that has made me chuckle
  23. Sick of reading the negative comments about Brereton unless you watch him day in and out and you know a thing about being a striker then believe me, he will become a huge star and in fact I think he could be the man to beat Garners goal scoring record he is THAT good. Rovers defenders and defensive midfielders can’t seem to understand the basic ethos of Row Z and the opposition can’t attack instead we saw a whole host of pathetic attempts to clear the ball. Standing off players allows the ball to be crossed and we do 5is far too often and this is what now sees us looking over our shoulders instead of looking ahead. By my count we have lost somewhere in the region of 13 points from decent positions that would have seen us already mathematically safe from the drop and looking at the top 6 rather than a scrap amongst the bottom 10. Finally fir this calling for TM to be sacked give your bloody heads a wobble and stay away
