  1. I have absolutely no idea however two things are at the back of my mind - he has got a contract offer in place and that is why he is off to India to finalise it and why he said three weeks ago pre season plans were all formalised including friendlies and the like OR he is leaving and us only going to India to discuss this season and explain how he has fucked up the biggest chance of promotion ! His contract doesn’t end until June hence his visit - let’s hope it’s his last as a Rovers employee
  2. It’s not down to the manager or the club when a player declined the offer on the table all cards are in favour of said player
  3. Sorry but the team currently epitomises everything about Mowbray - SPINELESS
  4. Absolute shambles stinks of total ineptness and incompetence 🤬
  5. Here is the end🤮 Mowbray has tainted his time here because he is a complete fuck up
  6. Tbh I would take S Dyche in a heartbeat over Mowbray
  7. FFP will kick in from the off and wages will be a starting point due to income loss across the football spectrum and this despite the parachute payment. Tv money is a massive loss as it isn’t just the weekend games at prime time it’s the overseas money from the East. Add this to the fact you will only sell out turf moor once - when we visit 😂 - and the total losses almost are incalculable- ask Sunderland who had 35k every game and more and look at them now? Personally it’s pretty sad how burnley have faired this season looking at the recent years but it had to come to an end under SD who by my money has gone stale in the comfort zone. I do look forward to the seasons banter and exchanges with you Longsiders
  8. What can I say about the Rovers Trust suggested way forward? Well, what a fabulously well written piece of work. Those who have contributed should be really proud - it is well structured, well presented and offers scope for a positive way forward for the future of the club alongside the happenings behind the scenes. Congratulations RT - I hope sincerely that is well received at the club
  9. Bournemouth given just 1500 tickets - even going up they will struggle to break this allocation so poor is their away and home support in general
  10. Having worked in the area for 30 yrs believe me it is the worst place in Lancashire for vehicle crime
  11. You've got it all wrong Matty, it is a cheap invite to watch another team celebrate their promotion at our ground (once again)!
  12. go through various visiting teams supports sites and you get a picture not only that having knowledge of the crime in that area and that should make it a concern for any one with a decent car
  13. For those who will be driving and looking to park in the dumpdale areas beware that your car will likely be damaged or broken into by the scum who dwell in that area. I recommend parking in the centre and walking up to the ground
  14. There is two ways they will look at the letter. Its either criticism of them or a request and we all know how they will probably view it. I don't think there will be any positive response to this letter nor do I think they will look at what it seeks to achieve - communication!
  15. I wouldn't profess to fully understand the financial implications for Burnley when they drop but again, another thing to consider is they will have to operate in the world of FFP which as we know in this league is very strict and obtuse and again places another burden/concern on the club.
  16. You forgot the massive debt to be added to the seasonal income losses and high earners alongside tv money and like every club who comes down what decent players you have are going some of them being free transfers. Burnley will not be as well off as you suggest and success once more is not guaranteed
  17. It doesnt need banners send an email or letter into the club and outline your issues/views and ideas
  18. He cant have anything sorted out, Rovers have activated the 12 months in their favour!
  19. Speedie would have leathered half of the team at half time himself
  20. Mowbrays recent faffing around has ensured that its no Good Friday football for me, instead I am off to Saints v Wigan rugby league, a few beers pre and post match and then finish off with a curry. I don't see Rovers having the ability to shake the Mowbray curse of cocking promotion up 1-0 loss despite 80% possession in our favour, 2 missed pens, 30 efforts on target and they score last kick of the game off the backside of the only posh player in the area!
  21. Loans have been 50/50... Elliott - ok for half a season - tailed off until he got himself injured. Harwood Belllis - solid player at the back. Khadra - jury out - played out of position and not a constant in the team which affects his confidence. JPVH - Best loan signing we have had alongside Elliot Tosin - not for me - really? he was quality, is quality and will go far in the game. Harrison Reed - misused - a mowbray conundrum on how could have got the best out of a quality player! Branthwaite - poor - harsh and could have progressed at Rovers. Giles - poor - he is played out of position, never features consistently and another mowbray fuck up - the best crosser of a ball in the Championship yet mowbray ignores his quality.
  22. If anyone on here thinks or believes he has signed a deal to go to another club without it ever hitting the headlines on some media platform then therein lies your answer. He hasn't, it hasn't, and indeed, if WBA want to progress then they will not want a dinosaur like Mowbray after his annual collapse and failure to take the team up when in such a good position.
