Personally Longsiders, I think Burnley have relied too much on the Dyche factor and its worn off. Burnley no longer have the fight factor, difficulty for opposition players and are too easy to play against. It will be interesting to see how BFC cope with the fixture pile up which in itself will heap additional pressure on the team.

I have been a vocal advocate for change of manager however it is very clear that he has got to be given a huge credit for the turnaround especially after the Fulham game. On the basis of recent performances on the pitch, we really do need an impetus with a centre forward and solid defensive midfielder. I wonder if we could actually deploy the back three as PV, Ayala and Wharton and play Lenihan in he defensive midfield role?

The problem area is the left back area - Huddersfield, Wigan and Hull ALL exploited Edun and his lack of defensive nouse. Rovers have a conundrum on the centre forward spot- Gally is the only option as bad as he has been, he may fare better in the middle with two fast pacemen on the flanks. Whatever team is sent out, its going to be a difficult game. Boro wont hold back so Rovers have to be up for it big time. Would be happy with a draw - 1-1

I am now in the land of wide awake after last nights dross -I am convinced totally now that Gally and BBD cannot play together they just do not complement each each other on the park there is no communication and neither reads each other’s game. butterworth should have been given a chance he is fast dynamic and can pick a pass -furthermore Rovers had many options to put out an attacking team but Mowbray failed to realise this. Not here why my early am post was removed it was my take on the game

Like many others just arrived back in Carlisle after the most inane plan to close the main route out of Hull when there are 2k plus fans travelling from Lancs🤬 Gutted with that abject performance. What concerns me now is how we approach the Boro game, a must win match with BBD up front. Too many players off their game, wrong team sent out and as for a formation? Well, I didn’t see anything worthwhile. Rovers were harried and bullied by an awful team, I mean Smallwood bossed the midfield on his own. Mowbray knew they had a lump up front and should have player Ayala alongside Wharton and left Lenihan to the right. JRC should never have been in the team he was woeful. What Gally was doing I cannot work out, useless. Rothwell and Buckley were pressed back, Kadra missed a sitter and needs to think about passing, BBD was out of touch whilst no one was central to break the play. Very disappointed and Rovers only have themselves to blame, oh yes the ref was a runt with a capital C!
