If Nyambe was at Leeds game don't you think the media and Mr Nixon would be all over it? He isn't the kind of player that would suit Leeds style of play and he most certainly would not shift Ayling out of the team. Leeds play a high power game going forward, RN as good as he is at defending for us and as bad as he is at finishing, crossing or the final ball, just would not get into their team nor would he likely get into any other PL team as it stands. I hope he remains at Ewood and improves to such a standard that he gets a dream move to the top leagues, he just isn't there yet.

Looking at some our keepers down the years, Mimms, Arnold, Gennoe, Filan Flowers, Jones, Bradshaw, Butcher, Dickens, Kelly, Given and the rest Inhave never seen as bad a series of mistakes, not even in Sunday league football, not in junior or secondary school and not even in the playground. The Rothwell scenario has been a repeat of his time at Oxford, and by that I mean playing extremely well - much better than at anytime during his contract- and then winding his contract down. I have had a re read of some of the comments from TM regarding Nyambe current position and the suggestions it’s not just about money but the fact his football academy in Namibia is important to him. I just cannot fathom how or why this should be an issue when dealing with a players contract unless of course he wants to go back to his country or to play abroad!
