  1. There is on the horizon our potential for the biggest league crowd since Oxford and the promotion party when knobend come to Ewood. Its a game that should whet the appetite of both sets of fans. I wonder if he can grasp the potential that this fixture might give?
  2. Not sure I& you know but Ste has been quite ill and only came out of hospital recently having had amputation surgery🙁
  3. We regularly took 15-20 in tranny vans to Rovers away games from Wheelton in the early 80’s, Chorley van hire were very good with us £20 a van on a Saturday 👍
  4. Can I just say when we grew up in wheelton there was never a dingle in there! what has become of the village if it lets a Dingle reside there 😅
  5. plenty of seats available in the JA Stand next to Rovers fans look on their website its almost empty in the nearest section
  6. Over 3k official fans boosted by numerous walk ons 😂 hope the weather holds😛
  7. Got mine eventually online and saying that I now have a spare ticket very very close to the away support if someone wants to contact me should they wish 😅
  8. In view of Rovers avid and excellent away following just had a butchers at Bpool FC Jimmy Armfield stand is almost empty especially adjacent to Rovers fans if you are interested????😁
  9. Maja failed a medical that is the only issue with him, this was after a deal had been agreed between all parties. I understand it is to to be resurrected in Januarys window.
  10. Certainly a tough game for Rovers but its not an unwinnable game. Mowbrays team need to be brave but savvy as Cardiff have the players who can score goals at will especially if they are given space. Danger man is Moore. Cardiff have shown a defensive weakness this season and its up to Rovers to exploit it. I never realised we had such a wretched record having hit the top 6, time for it to change. 1-0
  11. Spot on! Take the point and move in, huge game at home next week versus Cardiff
  12. I see rovers social media is all over this with updates NOT🤬
  13. LV has it spot on, we always see the similar story redistributed across the forum and its either bunkum or based on pure speculative rumour spreading across social media supported by a 1+1 =2 theory😀. If you do a little research on the Issa brothers it is very clear they are savvy operators, you only have to read a little on the ASDA deal and not just the purchase aspect. Alongside other acquisitions they make a handsome profit. They have an interest in sport but more importantly the community and what it means. I really do think this is an intriguing factor SHOULD they have any interest in BRFC. Until it happens then I sit on the side-lines hoping deep down it might be right or that there is something in it however as we have seen many many times hopes get raised then are flattened as quickly as they rose!
  14. It’s a chance of a bit of pay back. Barnsley have the Indian sign over us at Oakwell and we owe them one. Nonetheless it’s a tricky game and will be tight. 1-1
  15. Detractors have gone seriously quiet !😀
  16. The issue with BBD is that he was isolated for the whole of the first half because the team was set up incorrectly and hadnt a clue on going forward - Dolan aside, no one supported him, too many big gaps between the midfield and forward and not enough support. Rothwell kept standing still and when he did move with the ball he created space however this was far too sporadic and a turgid 45 minutes. Second half, with the introduction of Butterworth and Khadra saw support, width and speed through the middle which we had lacked. Efforts on goal arrived and this also rejuvenated Rothwell.
  17. 1st half was the most impotent lack lustre fucking worse than ever lack of effort by a Rovers team over many years it even beats the loss to Huddersfield many years ago on New Year’s Day 🤬 Mowbray set the wrong formation wrong players and must take the blame as on the pitch mirrored his personality. In the second half width and stealth was introduced and hey presto 2 goals come along against a very average hull side we were so comfortable it was almost a given that we would do the best to allow them back into the game. Three points bagged and we move on. I think Mowbray has now got to think long and hard about the 11 players he selects for Barnsley
