  1. Rovers cannot train or play any kind of sport at Pleasington any more !
  2. I have a friend who works in the legal side and believe me we are not paying over the odds for this lad, it is a relatively cheap loan
  3. What concerns me is that Rovers are being really "bigged up" by the likes of Leeds, City and Liverpool for developing their loanees and yet some of our own youngsters appear to be struggling. I've watched a few reserve games and there appears to be some real talent there i remain unsure as to whether some of them can make the leap to first team football but we are never going to find out unless they are thrown in to the team and given a chance. Rovers are in a spiral of loaning and developing others whilst sending their own kids out and who don't seem to be being developed as good as what we are doing with other teams players !
  4. chaines@rovers.co.uk Is the way through to him (if he ever decides to answer!)
  5. I have to disagree RF99 Mowbray knew which players he was letting go he also knew that Armstrong would be leaving and he also knew which players were not being offered a deal. He is the manager it’s his job to manage hence the job title. He also knew which players were freebies in January and a good manager would have been all over it getting his ducks in a row and at an early stage. Mowbray still hasn’t addressed the defence to an adequate standard despite 4 years. The midfield is another enigma never settled and never the same whilst tactically at time he has been utterly found out. His comments in the media are often ill advised yet he still persists. It’s time he accepted some of the blame portion
  6. Mowbray knew the situation we might be in in January and YET he has failed to organise, to properly plan a way ahead showing a lack of common sense approach for this season. He is leaving it to chance with last minute loans.com. There are many players out of work example being Connor Wickham who is training at nobend. When fit he is quality in this league and is the type of robust goal scorer that would flourish here. There are others around who would also fit the bill. They are free for a reason and therefore will no longer command massive wages, when free they do not hold the ace cards. Mowbray has let the club, the fans and himself down as he has gone stale.
  7. Bobby Svarc and Bobby Hoy, Gordon Taylor was another "smaller type" who all did very well at Ewood
  8. This will have a massive effect on match day, once people realise its a total rip off. Furthermore, Maggot wont even respond to emails now he has gone silent!
  9. Piss poor organisation shocking prices across the board! I will not spend a penny there as a result of disgraceful pricing I mean £3.80 for a pie! That’s atrocious pricing ripping off the football supporter because they are really not that good ! £2.20 for a 50p bottle of water? Waggott the maggot out🤬
  10. utter rubbish we played the best team in the league and only just got beat
  11. I just wish he would leave taking the maggot with him
  12. Obefemi isn’t the fault of Mowbray or the club, it’s the player himself! No more dosh incoming for Armstrong it’s a totally UNLINKED deal
  13. The rumour is he pulled out of the medical through illness and it hasnt been revisited YET!
  14. I’ve no idea I got a text on Saturday from someone at their game and Ferguson declined to comment on the speculation but left him on the bench he is in the last year of his contract so will attract interest
  15. Following on from the texts I got from a Peterborough fan who is a close friend and ardent Posh fan, there are now 3 Championship teams in for Dembele, he still believes Rovers are at the head of the queue however no fee has been mentioned or whether it has been accepted. No mention of the other clubs allegedly sniffing around him.
  16. I think the positive start should be promoted with a view to getting a few more supporters back into the ground. If only Rovers, Waggot and co could think outside of the very small box they seem to live in
  17. WBA have not sold out their initial allocation of 2500 and have a max uptake of 3000 atm.
  18. Think your view is very wide of the mark. Clubs do not submit bids during the game!
  19. Lets be brutal and bring this particular argument to a close. Jason Lowe is shit, was shit and will always be shit🤣
  20. WBA arrive full of confidence having battered Sheff Utd. They have a style of play where they try to overrun the midfield and defence and then bombard the back 4 with long stokelike throw ins which have reaped rewards for them. The two central defenders are peripheral to a positive result in my view. How do you combat the throw ins? Sheff U capitulated big time and all 4 goals were avoidable but just like last year they showed they have little fight. Rovers will be a different prospect in that we have two defenders who can actually win headers, step forward Ayala, this is the game for you to shine and this is the game to show you havhe the strength and stamina to play 3 games in a week. I dont expect to win indeed I predict a loss (like the 3 previous games). 2-0 WBA and as I will miss the game due to other longstanding commitments, I will be watching from afar having sunk quite a few sherberts down in Eccleshall. Enjoy the game and lets see just how much fight this Rovers squad have in them.
  21. Speculating about Nyambe is just shockingly poor and without a shred of evidence! Everyone who supports Rovers knows he has issues with hamstrings and has done over the past 4 years. I am still amazed how doom-mongers jump on the wheel less wagon without foundation! I am still very much in the Mowbray out camp but credit where its due, we have snaffled 7 points from games I genuinely thought we would lose. Lets see what the next 2 weeks brings in terms of incomings. As for Rothwell? Well he has done okay so far this season but only in fits and spurts and nowhere near enough to get into the Premiership particularly Brentford !
