  1. But that would show imagination, planning and forethought, something Mowbray lacks
  2. Any striker with a good supply line will score goals Armstrong proved it over the last 2 years. The Norwich kid sounds a good bet. Fast and quick feet is what we need and is the type of player to replace Armstrong . As a side issue Armstrong will either bomb big time in the PL or he will suddenly learn how to convert his chances without having to think
  3. I don’t expect Armstrong to be in the team On Saturday Southampton will be back in for him no doubt about that. Any other linked suitors will be looking elsewhere. I do t see any further interest from any other Premier clubs, Southampton is his level!
  4. Sorry pal it simply falls at the feet of Waggot
  5. Another costs savings exercise the club continues to wind itself down into oblivion
  6. I have a different view. By creating that kind of atmosphere it goes against the supposed joy of returning to grounds and a toxic atmosphere albeit targeting Mowbray and waggot might just help. One things for sure Mowbrays pitiful excuse box will have its lid wide open when we lose on Saturday so he may as well just blame it on the hostile crowd😅
  7. Its just 72 hours or so until the season kicks off in earnest and yet the forward planning is absolutely non existent, the lack of urgency isn't there, the fervent build up to the new season is nowhere to be seen which really is a sorry state of affairs as we come out of the covid induced absence from our team stadium, the lack of communication with the clubs support is astoundingly poor and the serious lack of commercialism is a shocking indictment on the leadership of the club. Mowbray is trying his best to fool us and continues to treat us all like buffoons. Waggot is an utter incompetent in the manner he disdainfully treats the fans of our club. There is a very clear and apparent lack of respect on the fans, the clubs history and what it means and stands for, the legacy of Jack Walker has been trampled on and yet these idiots thinks its okay and that everything is ship shape and Bristol fashion. The urgency now requires the fan base to come together as one and get the message across from the stands. Keyboard warriors are no good we need loud and verbal views to intensify the removal of these incompetent idiots and to ram this message across to India because we all know they will be watching. yes, they may choose to ignore us but at least they will be able to gauge the rancid atmosphere and it might just decide to take action.
  8. If and it is a massive IF, the rabid speculation had any semblance of truth about it then surely Mowbray would have walked such is his integrity, openness and professionalism!
  9. Iirc the Sheffield United link came about due to a post on Instagram by a close friend of Rothwells missus which was deleted pretty sharpish!
  10. I renewed a few weeks ago but this was mainly due to the fact that I will hit the 53 seasons mark and I am pretty sure that my season ticket this season will be my last UNLESS serious changes are made within the club.
  11. Its only a personal dig at the head man WAGGOT
  12. I am sure that i have read that as a result of the last 18 months exceptions are to be made and/or offsets made as a result of the loss of income from match days including commercial, hospitality and match day income based on an average over the last 3 seasons which might just have a slightly positive impact on our "losses"
  13. The stark reality of Rovers plight will be highlighted by defeat once again. Mowbrays tombola selection of a line up will see yet another opening day capitulation by a team devoid of tactics, energy and effort supported by players who are out of their natural and best positions. Crowd will be a tad over 10k if we are lucky. Time to oust Waggot and Mowbray
  14. Rovers are totally unorganised behind the scenes!
  15. The reality is that people can continue to speculate all they want however it is perfectly clear that not a single person has the inside track on the world of Rovers under venkys!
  16. Nothing more left to say just fucking leave
  17. Just absolutely glad to have given it a miss
  18. Mowbray should have been all over free transfers from January it’s as simple as that. The club knew they would not be strangled by a lasting embargo in June and more likely in the 6 months before so it cannot be held as an excuse or reason. The list of players available is pretty impressive there are players who would complement and improve the team so there are no excuses. The money we have saved in outgoings would easily cover wages because players know wage expectations are much lower than they have been in over 15 years. Its just a pitiful excuse for a stagnant set up run by incompetent people.
  19. Any score updates from tonight? As usual rivers news feeds are fucking dreadful
  20. The thing Is WB is that the crowd or what’s left of it will be spouting their dissatisfaction from the sidelines 🤬
  21. The saddest thing about this and it clearly highlights the biggest fault with Mowbray is that he has had many weeks to get his plans in order yet failed to properly plan especially around the area of free agents of which there are many available that would have enhanced the team. He has failed miserably a bit like his persona and he is already shifting blame which is another of his great traits. Reach might have been a decent signing, he could also have flopped. One thing is for certain WBA have their plans in place and will be a force in the division sadly Rovers won’t even make the grade of being a half decent side. As it stands we will be down and out by the end of October.
  22. Thing is the incompetent mowbray thinks he is pulling the wool over our eyes, we can all see it and we can all see the predictable outcome
  23. Armstrong wont be on whams radar they are close to agreeing Tammy Abraham for £35m from chelsea
