And the font’s all over the place. -
2 poor games - he’s shit. 2 good games - he's great. Half a season scoring goals - he’s worth £25m in the current market (Diaz). 4.5 seasons being poor to average - he’s not good enough - bench him, don’t care if he leaves. If Dolan’s decision making was better he wouldn’t be playing for us. If Dolan’s work rate and effort was worse, he wouldn’t be playing for us. Imo he’s still developing and I haven’t written him off. Some clearly have.

The players don’t deserve “Rovers” based in this performance -
Yeah sorry I thought I was in the match thread. Yesterday as soon as they scored and for the 10 mins after it was just all so predictable and you knew where the game was going. The keeper had a couple of saves to make towards the end which if we had a decent finisher maybe would have scored. Norwich were miles better though. Adam W when he came showed more forward vision in his Cameo than Morton has all season.

“I thought it was an equal game”. Hmmm Question I would have asked…. ”Jon, we seem to have an inability to get back into games if we go a goal down. Your style is clearly to play around at the back to invite teams on to us, thus creating space and chances. However, once we go a goal down, continuing to do that doesn’t work because the opposition have no incentive to come at us anymore. Why do you persist with the same tactics when we go a goal down when the stats are proof it has never worked?”

What's the official reason for the Burnley allocation being so low?

Having watched Rovers for 40 years in big occasion matches, there was nothing odd about it. -
Something it was obvious to anyone with an ounce of foresight knew Mowbray wasn’t doing after 2.5 seasons with us. Experts on here knew better though.

He looked really pedestrian when he came on vs Leics to help see out the game. Fresh legs he should have been busting his balls. Really disappointed me that. -
It’s absolutely nailed on that they don’t listen. The way they have operated ever since they took over is ample evidence of that. Arrogant know nowts in my opinion. I wish they’d show some fecking humility. Sick of ‘em.

That’s just based on league position.

I suspect when you look at Shaw and Agnew and the money they made, they weren't as inept as you suggest. Inept from the club's point of view, yes. -
This was in 4000 holes, purchased yesterday before the Swansea game and a good read - I can recommend. Clearly transfer deadlines were more lenient in days gone by….

With hardly any game time you were for binning off Dack not that long ago. You change your mind like the wind.
-
Terrible tactics and terrible performance. Again.
-
Safe to say if it had been a Rovers player it would have been.

45sec per throw in. We are on 1:30 added on already. Not. Timekeeping in football. One of my many irritations.
-
Yep - we've moved into farce territory. Much like football in general in many ways these days. For a multi million pound industry, Football administration seems amatureish at best.

I agree with you. But John Williams was employed by them at the start of their lamentable efforts at owning a club and since being forced out, 12 years later they haven’t replaced him with anyone of equal competence and show no signs of doing so. I’m really at the point where I have no fear about them pissing off, descending the leagues, and starting again. Because none of this is enjoyable anymore.

What's the point sacking people? As you rightly say it's the owners where this all stems from.
