Will we revert to type and have a poor performance/result after a promising start? -

It doesn't make sense for a professional footballer to get sent off for waving an imaginary card, which is a bookable offence. Great performance and result,. onwards and upwards. -

If anyone is thinking of getting Todd Cantwell printed on their shirt I suggest it's truncated to T C. If it doesn't work out you can claim it's Tommy Cooper -

The Dingles have spent £160m on transfers since their "project" started with Vincent Company and t'Rovers haven't even scored a goal against them since Jordan Rhodes, 9th March 2014. However fans from both sides are predicting an away win, funny old game indeed! -
They've spent £160m and the Dingle thinks we might be favourites wtaf!

BRFC - The Nostalgia Thread

For the replay it was a designated working day. The management wouldn't let us, the usual six rovers fans, go to the match and make our time up when we got back. After a few discussions the shop steward emptied the place and we all walked along the Bolton road 🤠 -

Nothing so exciting for us, a few of us took a group of pensioners from our local pub 🤣 -

I'm up in County Durham for a few days and, today, drove past a signpost to "Willington". Who else was there for the windy FA Cup tie and also went to the replay at Elwood during the 3 day week? Happy days! 🤣 -

Venky are the company, there are no Venkys

We keep slagging off the "Venkys" but it is the Rao family that have ruined the club. The Rovers manager was prevented from speaking at his regular Friday presser yesterday but has spoken today. Last summer the "project" that he had agreed with the owners changed completely. He had just missed the play offs on goal difference but was told there was no money for transfer fees or wages, the budget was considerably reduced. Under these circumstances he offered to resign and leave the club without any reimbursement. No, the owners wanted him to continue so he moved his family to the Ribble Valley and continued to work long hours. This current transfer window the budget was cut again and despite selling a 19 year old star player for £18m+ there was no money for transfer fees. The owners, the Rao family, are being investigated by the Indian government for fraud, perhaps even money laundering. They are not allowed to transfer money out of India without permission. The court case is ongoing. When the Rao family bought BRFC they didn't know a club could be relegated. They were allegedly conned by advisors. The Rao family are stupid, ignorant, dishonest and dishonourable people. They are an embarrassment to their family and country. Let's forget Venkys and go after the real culprits?

I love the football that JDT has tried to play but he hasn't got the players, he's never been backed and never had a chance. However, he is the manager, he has no plan B and neither him or this squad could survive a relegation battle . Time to go

We all know who the real culprits are but let's not lose sight of who is selecting Whalstad (sp?) and Moran every week.
