Football is, as they say, a funny old game. Imagine hiring the Messiah as manager when you've just finished 18th in the league. He spends £132m and produces football that, at best, wins one game in ten and drives their "fans" out of the gates at half time. To top it off they are now 19th in the league, you couldn't make it up 😂

My post below got me thinking whatever happened to Derrick Williams? Wiki says he joined LA Galaxy and is currently at DC United.

My FB page reminds me that 5 years ago we had Rodwell and Williams as centre backs. 😯 It's a far more optimistic outlook with Carter and Hyam.

You may well be right about that. However he'd sat on his arse watching his team mates running their arses off, was thrown on for the last 5 minutes and couldn't be arsed to move his fat arse for the cause. Zero Arte et Labore from him. He turned up out of condition on the first day and has missed the first 2/3 months of the season. He's a feckin shambles!
