  1. He was due back tomorrow but people in Pune are saying that he is still there so no chance that he will be back tomorrow.
  2. Very shocked to read this. RIP Kelvin. I have got to know him quite well over the last few years, have exchanged countless e-mails and PM's. A genuinely nice guy who cared deeply about Rovers and the wider community. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at what must be an incredibly difficult time.
  3. Reports in the local and national media have confirmed that Gary Bowyer, Shebby Singh, Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew are all in Pune to hold talks with the owners. Reports in the local and national media have confirmed that Gary Bowyer, Shebby Singh, Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew are all in Pune to hold talks with the owners. Shebby Singh has been in Pune since Thursday with Shaw, Agnew and Bowyer joining him today. Sources have suggested that Venky’s want to talk to Bowyer about Rovers dropping into the relegation zone and how he intends to deal with the situation. The owners also want to address the issues between the executive board which have led to an alleged breakdown of communications between the board of directors amongst many other issues. Unconfirmed reports have also suggested that club secretary Ian Silvester, finance director Karen Silk and supporters liaison Lyndsey Talbot are all set to leave the club. We have not been able to establish whether these reports are true. There have also been suggestions that Gary Bowyer could be removed as caretaker manager, at present there is no suggestion that this imminent but with talks continuing in Pune the situation could be change. BRFCS understands that Steve McCLaren and Berndt Schuster are both very interested in taking the Rovers job but would need certain re-assurances from Venky’s. Since the sacking of Michael Appleton Rovers have plunged into a crisis both on and off the field. On the field Rovers are on a 10 game winless run which has seen them fall into the relegation zone. Off the field there have been various reports about splits between the exectives and even suggestions of an investigation into Henning Berg’s contract as he is prepared to take the club to court regarding monies that he feels that he is owed. More on this developing story as we get it. View full article
  4. I am about half way through and have clocked just over 8 hours! If you do all the side quests (explore the tombs) then you could easily get 25 hours out of this game.
  5. I finished the main story last week. After about 5 hours I was about to chuck it in as the storyline was very slow, but then it really picked up and I loved it. Really good storyliner and the gameplay is very good. It took me just over 25 hours the finish the main story. There are tons of extra side missions to do so I reckon that I can get circa 70 hours out of the game if I wanted. Is there a disc based version of this available on the PS3? Am I reading it right that it is £15.99 on the PSN will allow me to download and play the 5 episides?
  6. It's an arab style kebab, very few places in the north do these in an authentic way. It has to be made in a clay oven, and Charcoal Cuisine have an arab chef so he makes these in a very traditional way. Give it a go, I am confident that you will like it:
  7. Not a restaurant but Charcoal Cuisine which is a takeaway on Montague Street (corner of Johnston Street) is fantastic. I recommend their Lamb Korbeda Kebab's, really good quality.
  8. Etuhu Signing Complete: http://www.brfcs.co.uk/2012/08/03/rovers-complete-etuhu-swoop/
  9. Friday Night Lights: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0758745/
  10. Isn't it just coming to the Xbox 360? They haven't done a PS3 version yet, maybe later this year.
  11. Really sorry to hear this. We are all here for you. There is always someone on here who you can talk to. Don't ever feel that you are alone.
  12. They acted on instruction of the manager, JJ carried the can for the poor start to the season.
  13. Don't know the name yet, other than it "ambitious" and "would be surprised if this guy joined Rovers". You can bet that Nicko with his connection will be covering this story in Mirror tomorrow.
  14. The information that I have been passed from a number of people is what I posted earlier, of course it is possible that it wrong but normally these people aren't wrong. I have not heard of JJ going anywhere else, indeed he seemed very happy. I am not 100% sure but I think he was on a month to month rolling contract and with the month ending tomorrow this one possible reason why he has left today rather than after the City game. I am told that there will be a like for like replacement assistant manager coming in, Kean has identified who he wants, so again this suggests that getting rid of JJ has been on the agenda for a while. Big question is if Rovers lose and the crowd turn against Kean on Saturday will he survive? After what I have been told this evening I am not as certain as I was this morning that he would survive.
  15. When I was up at Brockhall I saw JJ, he came across as a very knowledgable man, the evidence I saw was that the players liked him, so him suddenly leaving might have a effect on them. Also a very stupid timing, why do this now just 2 days before a huge game? Whereas getting rid of him after City would've been better timing as there are 2 weeks to next game. IF what I have heard is true then this whole situation stinks and JJ has been made the scapegoat. I really hope no replacement is announced before Sarurday because a bad result and fans turning against Kean might result in Venky's having to make another sacking. But my gut feeling is that Kean isn't going to get sacked regardless of what the result is on Saturday.
  16. Jensen did not leave of his own accord, he was removed and the reasons for why he was removed to be frank stink. He has been made a scapegoat by you know who.
  17. Not allowed to say anymore because of legalities, other than this does not mean that Kean is about to be sacked.
  18. Looking at Codesmaters forum there seem to be a huge amount of complaints about the PS3 version of F12011 in respect of the graphics.
  19. Yup, just finished it tonight. Cracking game and excellent story, they deffo surpassed the Maria Santiago tear jerker of Gow2.
  20. What's it like? Improvement on last year? Thinking of picking this up over the weekend.
  21. Nope not me! Yeah for £18 it is a very good game, there are quite a lot of courses, you can play career mode with the amount of courses available, as you play career mode there are some extra courses which if you want you can buy the course or just skip that event. All the big courses are already in the game. This is by far the best Tiger Woods game (mind you the last one I bought was Tiger Woods 09), but decided to buy this after trying the demo.
  22. Hughesy, Tiger Woods 12 and Masters are the same game. You have to pay for extra courses, but to be honest it has enough courses that come on the disc. I have had for nearly 3 months now and still not bored of it.
  23. I am hearing that Man City have put in a last minute £40 million bid in for Sanchez, don't think that they will be successful as the player has set his heart on moving to Barcelona.
