  1. It's one of those weird ones, where you know they'll get 5 or something. I know I'm talking crap now, and they won't, but you know what I mean? As long as we go out and play well I'll be happy, regardless of the final score, just have a good feeling about this for some reason. Though for the past couple of months I've had a good feeling about all Rovers matches.
  2. It is hard to be aggressive when you only have 14 players...
  3. Pompey drawn level against Boro
  4. Elsewhere Charlton and Boro both winning.
  5. God can you say anything else?
  6. Well my dad is a lifelong united fan, so I always feel a bit bad for him, he looks so sad, and I think of me after a Rovers defeat, but then I remember its United, and rub it in.
  7. I'll start it off then...I hope it's purple
  8. I've always be tempted to become involved in this discussion, but gave up months ago as it is dominated by you metal lovers. Not my cup of tea I have to say, well it was for a phase, but got past that when I was about 14.
  9. I'll be watching as well, also want Arsenal to win.
  10. Oh give it a rest. Pointless crap. Stay on the topic and make football related comments that do make sense, rather than your subjective view of the world. He's gone, some of us will have wanted him to stay, some of us will have wanted him to leave. I'm quite sure that most of us were excited by the prospect of the Savage/Ferguson midfield pairing, however, once Bazza became set on leaving the club did their best to get a good fee for him, and I think they did quite a good job. No good either having a go at each other or the club now, not going to help anyone out.
  11. If we can get the first goal, then that will crucial, after reviewing all the stats, Chelsea have only gone behind to start games 3 times this season, and only winning those once, so if we can get that first goal then it could be very important.
  12. Difference is, at least Todd refused to play because he felt he deserved more, in a strange way it almost shows his feelings for the club. Whereas Ferguson refused to play because he simply wanted out.
  13. We'd just see all our regulars suddenly seated in the upper regions of each stand haha
  14. I presume that 4.5 million included what we owed to Rangers, we didn't exactly break even, but it isn't terrible, it was worth it for all the glory bazza brought to rovers...oh wait...
  15. You just posted exactly the same thing on two different topics. I know you are old and all, but senility is really starting to set in.
  16. AESF did you not ever consider that we knew we were between a rock and a hard place, and knowing that this was a question of getting as much as we could for him, made it known that we wanted quite a bit, and as a result of this were able to get more than we would of had we publicly valued him at 5 million? I know Rovers fans always look at the glass as half empty, but before jumping on the boards backs, have you ever even taken a moment to think of that? It seems like common business sense. You always start higher than you expect, the bidder negotiates you down, but you are still happy with the final outcome. Go to any European market or antique market, and you'd see such things occur everyday. You don't turn around to the dealer and say: "what a puff look, you started at 10 pounds and I got you down to 8" "but sir I really would have been happy only getting 7"
  17. Totally right, and judging from his character and the end result, I'd say the answer was probably no.
  18. I bet Friedel would be loyal
  19. Quality. Whats Dickov doing standing behind the goal? The goal keeper looks lke Graham Poll And also has the smallest head in the world...
  20. We don't officially know that this is even what's going on, until we do no point getting upset about it.
  21. Old, slow and rubbish...oh and short.
  22. Rovers to win the FA Cup...and then draw Rangers in the UEFA Cup, where Bazza will miss a penalty, and Savage will score the winner, at which point all of the players will lift up Dickov and swing him like a little baby while pointing in Ferguson's direction. Dickov will fall asleep and have to be substituted, but that won't ruin what will have been an excellent night.
  23. I've got friends in Malibu and if you'd like can get them to help you out there?
  24. He was at a well arranged christening in Scotland
  25. If you can get the papers through to the FA before midnight, then yes you can continue working on minor details, but at that point basically everything would have to be decided anyway.
