  1. Obviously the two earlier bids were not accepted.
  2. If this is true and we do really want to keep him (and I'm sure that we do), then I think now would be the time to put another offer on the table.
  3. Good to see that you haven't changed the team much then.
  4. Totally agree with that drummer boy, really not a signing that I want to see happening and I don't think Dunn is deserving of what is essentially a third chance to sort himself out.
  5. I have to admit that I'm not that impressed by COD 3 on the 360, but maybe I just haven't played it enough yet. Has anyone played NHL 2K7, NBA 2K7 or Lost Planet? They are all games that I think I will be getting but I am not quite sure.
  6. They aren't required to accept the offer unless he has a clause, which he doesn't have.
  7. I agree Cocker, I will not be happy if this move goes through.
  8. I think he's done pretty well over the past few games. He isn't a great player, but he does the job he's asked to do and doesn't make too many mistakes. He's not a Tugay, but then neither is Dunn. I just don't see the point in signing a player who will simply not be able to hold down a place in the first team. He isn't good enough to play out wide for us and I can't see him knocking either Tugay or Savage out of the side, especially when you consider the number of injuries he picks up.
  9. Haha, for whatever reason Cocker this game just doesn't like you.
  10. I wouldn't. At least Mokeona doesn't get injured and will compete.
  11. Very good business...for Birmingham.
  12. No he hasn't, the last few pages were all just people having a bit of a joke and talking nonsense. We do that sometimes.
  13. Thought it was a reliable source? Don't believe it, had that been true then I don't believe that he would have played today.
  14. I would rather sign no one this window than sign Dunn.
  15. I just grown tired of all of these people wanting him back only so that he can take the clubs money and sit on his backside.
  16. I don't wish him the best at Bolton. I hope he remains fat and injured and is a waste of money for one of our big rivals.
  17. Why throw away 1 million? They probably thought the chances that he would amazingly turn around 3 years of injuries are so slim that why bother spending 1 million on him. Not to mention the fact that getting up to 20 appearances during your contract doesn't take much, so even in an injury hit spell he is likely to get up to that number.
  18. It can't be that old, it must be from this year.
  19. Saw Apocalypto...wasn't too fond of it to be honest. Did no one else think that when the man was being attacked by the jaguar that it looked like some crappy handpuppet was clinging onto his face? It is reasonably entertaining for a good portion of the film, but it is certainly not a must-see.
  20. Tugay had a lot of positive press back in 2001/2002, but he is quite old now and so can't be seen as a potential transfer target. He is certainly praised whenever mentioned this season.
  21. I find that with most clubs if you spend everything they offer you then you will put the club in debt or at least very close to it.
  22. I've seen both of the last couple games on tv and have to say that I think Mokoena has done well. He's not set the world on fire, but apart from the penalty he hasn't made mistakes. He's been tidy on the ball and is good at breaking up play. He isn't a Tugay, but he's good to have in the squad and if he continues to make improvements to the game then he could be a pretty decent premiership player. Certainly for the price that he came in for and the wages that I expect he is on then I would say he is a good player for the team. I don't think he'll ever hold down a starting place in the side, but I've always thought he had some potential and I think that he is starting to show some of it. I'm playing down Derbyshire's talent, but I don't think that makes it inconsistent that I then think Mokoena is a decent player. Derbyshire has yet to prove himself at this level, Mokoena on the other hand has played his part in quite a lot of games and we know exactly what he is capable of. Derbyshire has shown a bit of pace and has scored two tap ins, I think everyone is happy for him and happy to have him but I'm waiting for me before I get excited.
  23. Does the increased revenue from the league performance not cover the increase in wages as a result of good performances?
