Just give him time at a feeder club or out on loan, it changes from player to player and game to game. -

That's worth a pound. -
That is true, but the dealer is easily replaced.

See that's the thing, he obviously has no problem being here, he just doesn't want to stay here and there is a big difference. He seems perfectly happy to be sitting out his contract and will perform just the same, he just wants a move to a bigger club, which I think we could all understand.

Been in to a PSG and Stade Francais store today which both stock a great range of replicas, "casual wear" and other bits and pieces. It puts our stuff to shame. Yes, PSG are a big city team and have a larger support, but Stade Francais are just a rugby team and there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to match them. I know that this is a Sports World thing rather than Rovers themselves, but it is something that should be addressed. I would buy much more from the club if there was some nice looking good quality stuff to be bought, but there simply isn't. Maybe the club have figured out that they make more money from this sort of deal then from making sure that the fans have good stuff available to them, but it is a shame for us supporters.

That is a lot of money, I'll stick to my 360 and computer thank you very much. -
Nonda played well, I wouldn't be critical of his performance that is for sure. He has had a bad patch recently but he has the opportunity to prove himself before the transfer window and Roberts coming back (particularly with Benni being out for the next game).

How often do the "serious big time drug dealers" get caught? The people who get caught are the man on the street who is just turning a nice profit as a middle man essentially, not the guys who are really making the industry run.

That is very odd. I find Mokoena is very tough to get a work permit for, but some big French clubs usually take him on loan. -
Here's a question for any madden 07 players on the 360, has anyone ever had their superstar traded? I'm really hoping for a trade at this point, but don't know if one will ever come about and I don't know when my contract runs out.
-
I'm not sure. The other striker isn't doing much and the midfield haven't helped out much going forward in recent times so his life has been pretty hard. I think that he has done quite well since joining, though he does go offside a lot, but I think he has been one of our better performers.

I know its tough to lose a game like that handbags, but you guys are a good side and I'm sure that you won't have any problems staying up this year, thank you for your contribution to the board. Don't feel too bad about losing to us, we are a better side then our league position indicates and hopefully we will be up around your lot in a not too distant future.

All you have to do is often them a new contract and a new application will be sent in. However, you'll need to send them out on loan or to a feeder club first and then just keep offering them new contracts whenever you can be bothered and hopefully they'll get one (usually it happens after a season out on loan, though I have had some who need another season, sometimes even another two seasons, before they get their permit). -
Rover6, it was silly, but I think it is just part of his make-up. I wouldn't have cared one bit had it not been for the fact that it means he misses a match.
-
I was impressed by Benni. He's a bit of a sulk, but he put in some effort and even though he has 5 goals ruled out for offside in the past two games I still think it is impressive that he has taken 6 out of 6. At times he is being a bit lazy, at times it is because he is gambling and it hasn't quite worked out, but I'm not worried about it. Once again I have to ask why we couldn't play the stuff we did in the second in the first, would have been a stroll in the park. At least this time we can put it down to the formation, please don't go back to 4-5-1 Hughes, even with Benni out for the next game.
-
At least this should mean that we are seen as a better tie than Newcastle for TV.
-
Hopefully Lens will win that.
-
I'm hoping for Bordeaux v Osasuna for our meeting in the last 16.
-
Middle west.
-
Not the side they once were, but the draw could have been easier. Having said that, could this possibly be the perfect tie? Big game but a beatable team.
-
Should find out a little after the draw is made and the sides have sorted out the details. Possibly later today, but if not within the next couple of days.
-
It won't let me register, says that I cannot register from a proxy.
-
Wouldn't dream of missing it and I will be belting it out with the best of them. Won't go if it is Tel Aviv or Russia, but I'll try to make it to anywhere else, really hope I can get to a UEFA Cup away leg this year.

[Archived] The Nancy Boys Are Coming

Neill on his day is a much better right back than Finnan on his day, but the problem is that Neill is far more prone to making costly mistakes (usually either a horrible challenge or being out of position) and because of this may find it more difficult to keep a place down at Liverpool. Also, if he has any intention of breaking through as a centre half then Liverpool certainly isn't the place for him. I'm a big Neill fan and I'm sure that wherever he goes he will be a success, but I do wish players would sometimes take a step back and realise that in sports it is often far wiser to stay where you are wanted and established then to move to pastures new and find that it wasn't quite what you thought. Unfortunately few listen to that kind of thing and it is only made worse by the fact that very few of them are willing to admit to the fact they they were wrong and so end up simply ending their career by moving from one club to the other. -
[Archived] Shabani Nonda Signs
Eddie replied to FourLaneBlue's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
I would think that Roberts would have been first choice had it not been for his injuries. He was in the team at first and then suffered a small injury before coming back, having lost his place to Nonda (who started quite well) and then suffered a more serious injury. I don't think Hughes would have spent the money that he did on a player who he thought was only going to be a substitute.
