  1. The first part of that is a joke, if you don't like the second part then don't read a topic that is a movie discussion. As for the personal insults that you have now posted in more than one thread, please stop.
  2. It would seem so. Probably because Brown is younger so Hughes will see him as the long term replacement.
  3. That song always makes me think that the Who were big baywatch fans.
  4. That is a very good article.
  5. Nor can I. I have to admit the talk of online games of 11 v 11 where you only have control of one player sounds quite kool.
  6. Have to disagree with you there AS, obviously it is talking about how we are becoming more dependant on technology and machines and that one day they will become more intelligent than us and will take over. Anything else would be plain silly. I haven't seen deliverance so I can't really talk about it, but saying superman is an allegory is an insult to any good allegory or satire that has ever been done.
  7. Crazy, but you knew it was going to happen.
  8. That's what I was getting at. Thanks zigman.
  9. Good thinking.
  10. I just said it was a possibility. I have no idea whether or not Ferguson's comments actually meant that they had a serious interest and put in bids. Given the fact that no one has reported a United bid it suggests that they haven't. My point was that if they put in a bid they would stand a very strong chance of getting the players, as United always do.
  11. Got a few Bob Dylan and Metallica fans obviously.
  12. 20? I think even Brad could manage that this season. Well everyone seemed to be getting a little excited.
  13. Remember who we are playing guys. I mean, good to win and all, but it doesn't make our strikers 10 goals a season men.
  14. True, but isn't he from Cincinnati and I think hewas getting at if they had a team there he would consider going back. Can't remember the exact quote though.
  15. I think Friedel has said that the only way he would leave us before he retires is if an MLS team is created in Ohio, which for the moment seems unlikely. I think he'll finish his career here, who knows maybe we can get him to stay on as a coach.
  16. I never saw Mimms, so I can't really comment, but of the ones I have seen I would rate it: 1. Friedel 2. Flowers 3. Filan
  17. I wouldn't rule out either Zambrotta or Cannavaro, while Emerson and Viera are both possible. I don't think Viera will care that much now about being the Arsenal man as he has gone somewhere else, while he may also want to prove himself again.
  18. I think they might. Might not even need deep pockets, player power will show.
  19. I like the one with the red sash as well, still have it, wasn't it the our special 125 year kit?
  20. Maybe so, but you'll look like a recluse freak. Very hot in Paris these days, I love it, though not always great when you live in an apartment.
  21. With the squad they have now, maybe. However, if they were able make their own squad, like he has, I think all "top" coaches would make a success of it and a lot of mediocre ones would as well.
  22. Ah ok, makes sense, don't need to really, just thought you might be using some strange tactics.
  23. Nice little preview. You must have an odd version of FM though, you have Roberts being injured by Neill (who is then sent off) and Brown (as in our keeper?) scoring.
