Said it all for me, it will be all good until he sells Robert to buy 35 year old Neville Strongbottom from Rangers Reserve *Please note there is no such player as Chunky, I was being sarcastic in regard to the Souness spending habits Is Neville Strongbottom real then? Yes - Souness got a phone call a while ago where Strongbottom was highly recommended by none other than Andriy Shevchenko of AC Milan.

A 4-2 defeat with Neill sent off (a la Berg 94), Nelson and Emerton on the score sheet and Horsehead scoring a hat-trick with at least one from a penalty. Hey none of my predictions ever come true so let's hope the consistency continues.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to apologise for the delay to your journey. We are just waiting for the signal to turn green. As soon as it does we will be on our way. Once again we apologise for the delay this will cause to your journey. For those of you going to the millenium stadium to watch the semi-final we will endeavour to get you there at least for the second half. It is currently 1-0 to Arsenal."

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but did anyone listen to the commentary on 5 live for the Arsenal game? Very very anti-rovers. I couldn't quite believe half the stuff I was hearing against our players which wasn't quite repeated when an Arsenal player was guilty of the same offense.

Well, I feared the worst for this season when we suffered back to back 4-0 league defeats, one of them at Ewood to a team that lost 4-1 to West Brom yesterday. I'll take Hughes's "unattractive" style of play anyday over 20th place. I wasn't too disappointed by the result but if you imagine most of Arsenal's missing players back for the semi-final, I can't see us beating them - perhaps a 0-0 with Brad making a few save in the penalties (but then can you imagine our players knocking the penalties in?) On another note, Akinbyebye scored!! The same one that couldn't hit a barn door the size of an aircraft hangar. . .

Nah, the teletubbies theme tune is rather apt for them. Or perhaps bananas in pyjamas but they'd go crazy on that.

Are you sure the agency won't sue you?

Break the FA whores ?? surely, something lost in the translation??? er...not quite. That's the trouble with word for word translations. In essence, it means (excuse my language) "f*** yourselves you whores" but putains is used frequently. On that note, you could also say "va te faire foutre"

well 12:15pm is not too bad from birmingham. I'm going but I suspect I won't have a neighbour in the stadium. Perhaps those that are going should bring a giant sign to the stadium along the lines of (in english) "Cassez-vous FA les putains" (good thing this site doesn't recognise french) Maybe we can discuss this idea with Arsenal fans and see if we can all bring signs into the staidum. They want TV coverage - they'll get our messages plastered all over the TV. FA - F*** All. Incidently, this is from the bbc mB: "As an armchair fan myself, the kickoff is very convenient for me but I can understand your frustrations about the kickoff"

didn't he have a degree in french or something? Read most of the posts above and agree that a clean cheet was what was required of us. Nelson is looking very consistent now. Todd was great. The whole team worked hard closing down opponents. the opposition, no longer a team to be feared - Morientes and one other liverpool player whose name momentarily escapes me had to resort to diving under the slightest of touches to get free kicks near the box. I hope they get stuffed on Sunday. Strangely I felt comfortable watching the whole match. I was quite bored but I never felt tense like I do when I watch our team. Room for improvement: Stead needs to learn to dribble. That's twice I've seen him dribble the ball out like an utter buffoon. For goodness sake I don't see that level of incompetent dribbling in the premiership elsewhere. Gallagher - on that cold night in December 2003, I watched him score his first goal for Blackburn. I thought this could be our hero in times to come. Last night - a shadow and that's all he was. Set pieces - MGP's corners always seem to be low (even against leicester).

Earlier on in the season, I think Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer would have been apt.

3-1 Neill, Johnson and Pedersen. Gillespie. -
There's a quote from the BBC site from an everton fan: "Why do Blackburn do their utmost to spoil our season?" They haven't forgotten how we "stole" their UEFA cup spot on the last day of the season.

And every time an Everton challenge went in, our player got straight back up. But from our challenges, you would have thought that the everton player was close to death. Cahill totally deserved his yellow too. Stead- great goal but lots of room for improvement. Perhaps I'm being a bit over critical but I think he needs to look up when he's dribbling. On one counter attack, he had his colleagues running into space - a pass across the pitch would have undone Everton completely but instead he dribbled the ball out of play like a buffoon. Reid was fantastic. Very consistent when I've seen him play.

A good performance from the rovers but ultimately a 2-0 loss with goals from cahill and bent boy.

thats right.. We are not do-gooders! The correct translation would be: "Its typical for a Norwegian to excel!" The phrase was spoken by former Norwegian PM, Gro Harlem Brundtland, after the usual Norwegian success in a skiing World Championship back in the 80-ies. Did she not also say that sheep are alright animals? -

I texted my norwegian cousin about pedersen after the match and she replied back with "Det er typisk norsk a vaere god". I think it means typical norwegian god or typical of a norwegian to be good! -
