Sorry rev but if fans couldn't see or have the appitite to have their voices heard even when it was and still is obvious that the Venkys aren't fit be be owners then the numbers objecting to Brockhall will be nominal. As for pitchforks and torches not the people I know, just wanted our club back, but that horses has bolted.

Tony Mowbray Discussion
funny-old-game replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Needs to run away (I'll give him a lift home myself and a £200 covid fine would be worth it) because all the goodwill he stored up with the fans has all but gone! -
When will Mowbray be sacked?

Norwich (a) - 20/3/21

If we had a manager that was more consistent with team selections (square pegs round hole), tactics, substitutions and not afraid of the opposition which always comes out in pre match interviews. Even with this squad a better equipped manager would have us up amongst the playoffs. The big question is do we have a structure in place to recognise this and act accordingly? These are some of the comments fro Norwich fans forum. Blackburn played really really well apart from the dirty tactics, best team to play at Carrow Road this season and well worth their point. Worried about the injuries. Ref was appalling, zero cards all game?! Must have been watching a totally different game to me. Blackburn fully deserved the point, best visiting team at Carrow Rd this season. Not best of performance, but have to give a credit to Blackburn who had come to really play and challenge for win instead of just defend. Basically, yeah. Blackburn have come here to play and are pushing us off our game. We haven’t adapted and we’re getting bullied a little. Blackburn by far the most impressive visitors to Carrow Road for quite a while and have probably been the better of the two teams in the first half. However, they've been working extremely hard and hopefully they will slow down and we can get on top in the second 45 minutes. -
I've copied and pasted this from LT comments section, it make interesting reading if accurate. (1) Its not just Brockhall that's affected. Brockhall 'village' is the name of a housing estate within Old Langho. When Brockhall was originally proposed the number of houses allowed was reduced to just over 250 because the roads around Old Langho could not cope with more. It was even indicated in the original permission that a new road was required even for 250 homes.T That road never materialised and Brockhall is now the home to over 400 dwellings which has built up bit by bit over time. Now there is the proposal for another 170 but still no new road, still no new infrastructure, no new school, doctors etc. On top of the 188 homes just being built at whalley, the area cannot cope. (2) At the end of the day RVBC will receive more money in funding. Housing Delivery Test for 2019: Ribble Valley - 278% over target (3) So the lower site was opened in the early 1990's, it was actually 1994 and the upper site in 2001, some 20 years ago. Why does the Telegraph not ask questions as to why Waggott is claiming the upper site is over 30 years old and is outdated ? With residents not being consulted, I think there is some underlying plan here by the Coventry three.

I agree with that in principle but the structure hasn't changed re quantity Chairman since 2012, Venkys on the ground involvement is next to nothing. You only have to look at the dross Chairman's we've had under the Venkys from Agnew to Waggott all chancers with no passion or commitment, compare this with Fox through to Williams. Nothing will change and the "alternative with financial clout" will not happen just more years of dilution as with the attempted training ground sale even though it's in the top15 in the country, upkeep of the Ewood, fans expectations etc because we have no real structure and those in charge are just feathering their own nest and have no love or affinity with it. I'm a glass half full sort but it's only going one way sadly.

I've looked mainly from a distance on here of late about anything Rovers, as I'm running on empty with regards to the passion and love I've had over more than 50yrs being a fan. What irks me most is this total mismanagement will continue until the Venkys leave or we go out of existence. Nobody really knows if the debt £190+ is something they can claw back, either way the club is being diluted, stript back or asset stript (take your pick). The Venkys are in to deep in my opinion so this downward spiral will continue till either of the above happens and we have no club left. Another thing that gets to me is some members that are very vocal on this topic are the one's that looked down their noses at members advocating Venkys out and voiced it on here as their was clearly only one way this was going. Myself, arbitro, Clayton's left boot to name a few where outside Ewood wanting Venkys out and the apathy and distain towards us was soul-destroying, now some are on here with what seems like the pennies has finally dropped, but sadly maybe to later IMO.

Bournemouth away
funny-old-game replied to roversfan99's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I was thinking on the same lines and Howard Kendall's team came to mind, knew this players limitations and played according winning 1-0 most games. Mowbry is trying to play a style without all the components it needs imo. -

Trouble is the gearbox is always in reverse!

Good question. The lad will make a very good footballer if he stays injury free.
