Boumsong wasent that bad was he?

He did play in the same side as Titus Bramble and have Souey as manager.

So whats your excuse for him being pants at Rangers?

He's woeful at best... he's like what you would get if you took what's good about Nelsen and reversed it

I thought Boumsong did ok at Rangers, everyone (Rangers fans) raived about him.

I think Gravesen will do well back at Everton but hes got more competition for his place this time.

As for being a weirdo, you dont know me so please reserve your judgement, all i wanted to do was discuss Rovers with other passionate fans and i get abuse from someone ive never met.

Hmm...

I put them both in Google

- the first I was asked if I really meant the capital of Slovenia

- the second I got offered a "high energy audio engineer". His alter ego is a Charlton reserve.

Don't worry, they are both bound to score when you come to Ewood.

Nicko - out of interest, do you know if Roberts wanted to move to Fulham?

He looked pretty grumpy tonight and like he had something on his mind....

Hughes interview - asked if anyone be leaving, answer: NO. Then asked if anyone will be coming in, he said: we will see what happens late on tomorrow.

Roberts scored and i thought he looked ok tonight, needs more games though as he isnt quite sharpish enough.

thanks ffan, i will. ;)

Olsson i thought played great when he came on and the crowd gave him a bigish cheer, so i dont think we need a back up lb.

Mark Hughes has ruled out any departures once again, but hasn't ruled out anything happening on players coming in late on tomorrow (loans maybe??)

If Roberts wants to go let him, If he knocked in goals every chance he had he would play every game, he missed quite a few tonight.

Santa Cruz has come in a done his job & claimed his place. Benni was our top scorer last season & deserves his place, to me Derbs is 3rd choice.

Roberts attitude after the goal stank. Although I think we are in an luxury position with all the strikers available, do we really need a sulky player in the squad who is gonna show that attitude when he gets the chance? Take the 4m is my advice.

Agree with you, he looked comfortable, think he can be depended on if Warnock got injured, didn't look nervous. Although it would be a whole new world in a premier game, but was great to see get a run out at last.

What planet are you two on ? He touched the ball about 3 times in a cameo lasting about 10 minutes. From that you deduce that he's capable of playing 90 mins in the Prem ! What's your views on Ritgers, the new Ruud Gullit no doubt .

I have seen him play left back for the reserves quite a few times - i think he is a quality player, he is very comfortable on the ball, excellent touch, likes to break forward and overlap - he is slightly light weight, but he will toughen up as did MGP when he got his chance, and Bents for that matter. - He will be an excellent cover for left back and may push Warnock in the next season or two.

Jason Roberts - what are you doing man ? worked hard all night, gets frustrated, understandably with some of his team mates when he could have been used, but i thought the impression he gave after scoring, isn`t what i will pay money to watch! There was no emotion there, compare that to Bents when he scored.

After the final whistle, whilst the players clapped the crowd, Roberts was off the pitch and down the tunnel, didn`t speak to the management on the way. Is this a sign that he was unhappy with the match - or unhappy at the news he is free to discuss terms with Fulham or another suitor ? and rovers have accepted the fee put to them ?

Maybe Nicko can shed some light on this - but as some of you have posted - it was quite evident, Jays frame of mind !

Uperbody strengh - not noticed a difference from when MGP was warming the bench under Souness, or When Bents came back after his first season ?

Go back through the quotes from these two if you need any supporting evidence of the hardwork they did in the gyms toughening up

Sorry, that was a knee jerk reaction.

Both MGP and Bentley used to be in the category of the opposition giving them one solid hit and that was the last you would see of them in a game.

This year, Bents has been a bit off colour so far but he's not been shirking or hiding.

MGP I am seriously worried about- he has dramatically lost form. Was Luton the last game he scored in? Volleys and headers which he was routinely if spectacularly putting away have disappeared and I simply don't understand why his corners are worse than abysmal.

He got booed off by Norwegian supporters in the last couple of Norwegian games for performances George Weah's cousin would be ashamed of- he was that bad.

They say form is temporary and class is permanent. The problem is MGP's form has been so bad for so long, I fear it is now permanent. He needs some sweet running volleyed goals and to use quick feet to shuffle past a couple of markers a few times to rediscover what being MGP on the pitch really should be about.
