According to SSN, Spurs have put a £20m price tag on Defoe so that ends rumours of him going to Rovers. There was meant to be interest from United in Defoe which is why Spurs slapped on such a high fee as they don't want him to go.

The BBC special is hilarious, because of the silly rumors that get posted. about 0.00001% of them have had any basis of truth. What's the point in posting every one of them here?

What do you mean what's the point in posting them on here? Get off your high horse for a minute and realise that most of this entire thread has just been rumours - most of which haven't materialised. In my opinion, Tugay to Bolton is more realistic than Defoe to Rovers. Not that I was passing comment on it, just posting it on here so that people could decide for themselves.
