They seem to be right on the brink at the moment. If anything goes slightly wrong or gets delayed it looks like they will go into administration.

One thing does not make sense to me - if this 'rescue company' come in why would they pick up the £30 million-plus tab?

Surely they would let it go bust first and then pick it up...

The ground is owned by the council, I believe, so this is a hot potato locally.

I had the same discussion with a cov fan last night who agreed fully with that arguement. He still expects them to be saved by some stupid investor though. If they went into admin the investors would then be able to spend more on the club once they takeover.

dont get any gate reciept money until the crowd is over 24 thousand by all accounts

The feeling down here in the midlands is that they're totally ######

That rarely happens.

Long overdue but i do feel slightly sorry for cov fans, until they come out with the line that they belong in premiership.....

Where did it all go so wrong for them? I seem to recall them being a very well run club from the days of Jimmy Hill right up until they got relegated

Robert Kraft

Hardly a player for the future.

Not sure what the comment at the end is supposd to mean, but he is well liked in Boston (a town that is hard to get all that much love due to the cut-throat sports media looking to trake anyone down a peg for their own fame), he's been very successful, Pats now, Revs seem to always be one of the best MLS sides.

Thant being said, he'll buy into a London club, if he corsses the pond, based on all the noises that have been made.

Heard that Ramos was supposed to be after the Sevilla goalie.

Andres Palop. He's awesome, if for no other reason than having scored an injury-time equalizer in last years UEFA Cup :D

Less importantly, he's also been good the few times I've seen Sevilla play, but that's not the main criteria.

From what I hear Dunfermline can't afford to sack him...18 months of a contract to run. Unless he quits they are stuck with him.

Just watching Coventry on telly. Seems their takeover has hit a snag. I think administration looks a cert sooner rather than later.

Incidentally two ex-Rovers right back on show. That doesn't happen often.
