Due to comments after a pre-season game with Wrexham by Liverpool boss Benitez, reports would suggest that former Rovers Striker Craig Bellamy, has left Liverpool, the team he supported as a boy, to join Lucas Neill at West Ham. Reports suggest that the transfer fee is in the region of £8 million.

Sky Sports News are quoting Liverpool manager Benitez as saying

"He's signed for West Ham, it's done."

Whilst unconfirmed reports suggested that Bellamy was also a Rovers target, www.brfcs.co.uk have been informed that Rovers have other irons in the fire and are persuing a mystery target.
