SKY SPORTS NEWS are just sensationalising todays meeting between the Chairman and Ince because there is nothing else happening.

The worst thing I have listened to is the letters when the Burnely six fingered muppet wrote in praising Ince as the best manager since Kidd, that about sums up the reality of our dire situation.

If Ince stays then he HAS to rid himself of Matthias, it is this person who is causing disharmony in traning as his methods are old style. A change has to happen for the club.

If ince goes, and he deserves to, then Rovers must make their decision as to his replacement as fast as possible, every club, on changing a manager, gets an impetus and for Rovers, what better time to run up 3 wins against similar placed clubs. carry that impetus into the New Year and it looks rosier.

Come on my little yellow bar, light up with the words the majority of us want to hear/see :P

Unbelievable .I'm sick to death of people who have no idea what's happening to our club under Ince come out with rubbish like this. Latest comparison - Gary Megson, an experienced manager.

Totally agree Tooting. These people are trying to ruin our club by putting the welfare of Paul Ince above the welfare of Blackburn Rovers. If we keep Ince, go down and go in to administration would all these people be as desperate to comment on BRFC as they are now? They can all get bent for all I care.

From that article:

But League Managers Association chief executive Richard Bevan told BBC Sport: "He's only been there five months and not brought in his own players."

Well, I can think of 5 players he's brought in.

Ego trip? I think most people on here just don't want to see the club relegated, which even if a new manager was appointed still may very well be likely. So what are the club to do, allow the descent to continue so that there's no hope at all.

Just read this as well...

mrpointy22 (Norwich City fan)

"I like Paul Ince a lot and don't want to see him sacked but I think the Premiership would be better off without a club like Blackburn. Just another of those annoying Championship/League One sides (Wigan, Portsmouth, Bolton and maybe to a slightly lesser extent Fulham and Middlesborough) that's fan base clearly indicates they don't belong."

From here: TEAM TALK

What a tool...

In part you're right, waggy. The players are hugely at fault for where we are. It is however down to the manager to sort out these problems and get them playing winning football again. Ince has shown zero capacity for being able to do this. A new guy may be able to. The results over the next few monthswill be the only thing that can show whether this is the right decision or not.

That's exactly the point. The players are not performing anywhere near as they should be. We need somebody who can get them performing.

Aye,

Fowler from the Championship

Keith 'League 2 Player of the Year' Andrews

Robinson

Simpson - Loan

Grella-ella-ella - So could he can't even play 1 match

[sarcasm]That Paul Ince is a great manager[/sarcasm]

Stuff the LMA, look after number one. If we do go down lets at least fight for our status!

Wagster, I am still waiting for your list of positives in keeping Ince at the club.

What is it that Ince and co have done to our club ? What if anything, is there to be optimistic or pessimistic about ?

How do you see Rovers current plight improving when we have Ince playing players out of position, using indifferent formations and having players who are clearly not willing to die in the shirt for him ?

Now mate, like I said earlier, I like your comments and views but until you convince me with any positive news then I wont change my mind. Oh, yes BTW I am not a keyboard supporter I go to the games religiously and am sick and tired of the dross on offer. Total football ? if Ince went back to basics and got the players to learn to pass the ball to each other, pass and move and generally play football to get a result I wouldnt mind, the plain fact is though, with Ince, matthias and Knox we have a crew who seem to be bloody ignorant to our plight and have not a care in the world that we face relegation.

we lose to Sunderland so easily, we surrender without fight to wigan !

We should have blasted both of these teams out of sight without any fear.

I know this is all Poker Man-esque and whatnot, but believe what you want to believe.

People who know me, know that I'm not a bull plopper.

Just had a phone call from the training ground and Ince has been sacked.

Will be in the news within the next hour.

Thats from Andy off official boards

Erm...

I won't pretend I like Ince as a person or a manager, but he was one Hell of a footballer in his time...

But right now Waggy he is not ready to manage at this level, he has not helped himself by appointing a bunch of "has-been" back room staff and signing some very dubious players.

It was a brave move for John Williams and the Board to appoint him in the first place, but unfortunately it hasn't worked out for both parties in my opinion and now is the time to move on and appoint somebody a lot more suitable for the role of managing Blackburn Rovers (a difficult job at the best of times).

Admittedly it good all still go very Pete Tong and as I have mentioned before if there is no serious investment from somewhere, someplace very quickly we are going to be in a whole lot more trouble than we are now. Hopefully the past couple of years or so have now acted as a catalyst for the Board to realise that they need to take a serious look at what their level of commitment is to the cause and act accordingly.
