Those comments about JW are absolutely disgusting - and yes, people who employ people are called employers, and they can sack someone as easily as bringing them in the first place in the footballing world. If I hire someone to fry my burgers, find out that he's not frying enough for the customers while he's having a laugh with his mates, while at the same time getting unhappy customers, a poor reputation and poor productivity, then he'll get fired.

I find Adams is in the same league as Ince managerially - unprofessional, wishy-washy and living off his playing reputation. We'll soon see if he really earns it. Portsmouth will decline in the near future, I'm certain of it.

Its Adams "ta very much Incey" for his first home win.

If you like. Predicting that an over-promoted, inexperienced black man will fail because he reminds you of an over-promoted, inexperienced black man in your office is neither insightful nor tasteful. Have you carried out your overt threat to drive your car over Ince yet? Muslim clerics have been deported for less.

1. Jan's analogy was crass rather than malicious.

2. Had she carried out her threat, any jury would surely clear her on grounds of justifiable homicide.

3. "Muslim clerics have been deported for less". Even if it were true (which sadly it isn't) Jan is a British citizen so cannot be deported. Neither was she - unlike said deported clerics - inciting others to drive over him with a car packed full of explosives and incinerate as many decadent kuffars and infidels as possible in order to claim a place in heavenly paradise with 72 dark eyed servile virgins waiting.

4. She was right.

It's just dawned on me - with all these pundits and footy pals of Ince coming out in slamming Rovers... Will they not even credit us for at least giving him a chance to manage in the Premier League, taking into account this "young British manager" that everyone goes crazy for these days?

I don't think they appreciate the magnitude of the gamble we took. Not many Premiership teams who'd finish in the top 8 would give grace to a League 1 to-be manager.

Really grates me...

I'm yet to see any substance in support of any critics argument that Ince deserved longer other than he's young and his british. Oh and he did well in division three.

fantastic, I concede my argument to you sirs...

It is an empirically undeniable fact that the only club in England that has taken the risk of elevating a young black British manager to such a loft position is Blackburn Rovers.

This is the same club whom the likes of Oliver Holt choose to metaphorically hurl their shoes at.

The strange spectacle of such an enlightened club being subjected to insults and innuendo by members of the very fraternity that are happy to wallow in the largesse and protection afforded by the vested interests of the EPL and the Fourth Estate is really quite ironic and symptomatic of the prevailing culture.

It's always more convenient to blame the victim.

These comments are hardly surprising. It's turkeys voting against Christmas.

I think Adams will do a better job than Ince though. He comes across as a bit of a brighter chap (not hard I know) and knows the setup at Fratton from being assistant, so it should ease him in a bit.

Oh and another thing - to the people who were so vehemently pro-Ince, at least until the last few weeks, the ones that would argue down anyone who would dare call him an incompetent fool, it's worth noting that noone, but noone on this board gave Ince the same prejudice that Allardyce has got from a few.

While the overall mood has been more positive (and so it should, Allardyce is clearly a better manager with a proven track record), to my knowledge noone said they'd rather we got relegated with someone else in charge than have Ince managing our club. Yes people predicted his failure before a ball was kicked, but then that was a reasonably obvious prediction.

Bright, really? I think he comes across like a village idiot.

i think we can discout anything adams has to say on this or any other matter.

he's bonkers! you only need to look into his eyes to see that!

his argument includes one of the most rediculous statements i have read in ages!

"I have seen them go out of the game very quickly - the Bryan Robsons and Glenn Hoddles. Great coaches who could be utilised, who could be helping people."

theyve gone out of the game, because theyre no good. end of story.

hell, if they are great coaches... why dont you given them a bloody job ?

maybe you should keep your long face out of other peoples business, tony. lest you end up the same as your pals!

tony's made a bit of an ass of himself... again! " eeyore, eeyore":lol:

Hasn't Redknapp been gobbing off that we've only had a "couple of bad results"? Has he even looked at the form guide?

jesus! he's another 1! christ! he wouldnt be in a job, if the spurs board had applied 'arry's own priciples.

belt up, harry. and while youre at it... ask your jamie to stop wearing tight trousers. i'm tired of seeing the outline of his manhood, while i'm trying to eat my sunday dinner!

Hi all new here, just thought id point out that all these managers arent exactly going to say the board were right to sack him, because as soon as they start having bad runs then they dont really have a leg to stand on when it comes to the board talking to them, deep down they knew ince was going.

Take what they say with a pinch of salt, if adams doesnt pick up his prem form he may well be next.
