Is the game on Sky mate v Tottenham and we fans must do something and if it raining we must be in the rain because this has gone to far now and most off us are in tears.

Don't think its on SKY, but I fully expect a few Paul Daniels tricks from them this week, However the fans will have their say on Sunday, and there is only one thing which will prevent the fans doing so, and that is Steve Kean to be removed as Manager with immediate effect.

Is that the buy out clause in his contract?

Not the sort of payment you will ever see written in a contract :-(

Rovers need a complete fresh start, Even if a director of football was to be appointed that would not be good enough.

Kean needs removing from the club and a new Manager with his own team needs appointing. Having a director of football has not worked at one UK club yet and if that is done at Rovers it will only be done because the club have not got the guts to remove Steve Kean from employment at Ewood Park.

Glen, if this is a response to my post above, I don't think you've read my post properly. Forget the title DOF and read the point again.

The sole reason why Kean is still here is because of him being a nice, positive man and because of his personal relationship with very naieve owners. If we simply replace him and carry on as we are now,, we could well be in the same position with the next underperforming nice, positive manager.

Thank you for the respond, lets hope the fans can outcast Kean from his job for good and we may have to target Venkys to get the wish we fans must be all together helping each other out.

I witheld judgement for a long time on Steve kean hoping for the best, it's an absolute disgrace and embarrassment the way where going, if he stays we will pick up the odd point here and there with a couple of jaggy wins.. Lucky to make 20 points by may..

What makes Kean so seemingly untouchable?

That's the big question.

This lovely, cosy relationship with the owners. If he wasn't a nice positive person, would he still be here? If they didn't like him, would he still be here?

It needs cutting now.

The owners have become a other Mike Ashley messing the club up and the fans to.

If only we had an owner like Mike Ashley, he's transformed that club from a debt ridden joke to a stable premiership club with potential, he's even got the debt under control and replaced Allardyce with a decent manager :tu:

If only we had owners as capable as him.

There comes a time in business, in politics and of course in sport where a leader's position becomes untenable. In the real world, Mr Kean should be long gone from our club but our owners stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that they have made a massive mistake not just in appointing him in the first place, but by not realising he is clearly out of his depth and making him redundant. The really worrying thing is that our owners have just appointed Paul Clement as assistant coach and seem to be seriously considering appointing a Director of Football or something similar. These are not the actions of owners who are contemplating sacking our manager. A very frightening scenario which could lead to relegation by Christmas or thereabouts. The only explanation I can find is that they fear losing face and admitting they got it completely wrong.

This week, I'm ashamed to say, is the first time in over 50 years I have ever wanted our team to lose a match, in the vain hope that they will finally see sense. Fat chance.

old english folk song - popular in 1977

.

God save Steve Kean

And the Venkys regime

You’ve become a moron

Potential H-bomb

.

God save Steve Kean

He ain’t no human being

And there’s no future

In Venky’s dreaming

.

Don’t tell me what I want

And don’t tell me what I need

There’s no future, no future for you

.

God save Steve Kean

We mean it man

We hate Steve Kean

God saves

.

God save Steve Kean

He’s blowing our money

And our figurehead

Is not what he seems

.

Oh God save our history

God save and come to our aid

Oh Lord God have mercy

Kean’s crimes are paid

.

When there’s no future

Can there be sin

You’re the flowers in the dustbin

You’re the poison in our Rovers machine

We’re the future, you’ve no future

.

No future, no future, no future, no future for you

SEM/Kentaro/Huber/Anderson.

The longer Kean remains in the job the more I think that they are still running the show, despite rumours saying their influence had diminished.

That's what I thought, but people keep telling me Kentaro aren't pulling the strings anymore. Wishful thinking?

Like I said everything points to them still being in control in my opinion.

IIRC someone, (Nicko maybe) said that Anderson wasn't the main player behind the scenes that was in fact Huber. Someone who we really know anything about and don't know what his role is. So if JA has been frozen out it doesn't mean that they don't have a major influence if Huber is really the one who has Venky's ear.

I'm hoping he meant he sacked Allardyce and then got a decent replacement, but as that replacement was Keegan...

I think the main point being Ashley replaced Allardyce with a manager, someone with experience, someone who has actually been a manager in the top flight before, unlike Venkys who gave the job to a coach.

Not sure how I've modified the truth? Enlighten me Jimmy.

Well lets stay as we are then!

That's definately NOT what I'm advocating 47er...I want this Charlatan Kean out!

I am stating that I dont believe changing the manager every 3 years or so will lead this club onto any future sustained path of stability.

As we are now and is there for all to see,we have appointed an absolute nightmare who is taking this proud club down.

As for Kean's comment's about fan unity, yes we are unified, unified in the cause to see you removed asap you arrogant tosser!!

When Ashley sacked Allardyce, Newcastle was 11th. Similar to when rovers sacked Allardyce last season when we were mid table easily. If we had beaten Bolton we would have gone 7th in the League.

After Newcastle sacking SA they struggle to win and were close to going down, similar to Rovers last season!

When Newcastle/Ashley did was stop all the silly big wages Newcastle were paying. Got rid of players on big wages.

Pardew has impress me this season with his signings like Cabaye, Santon and Demba Ba. Plus his tactics and style of play have been spot on and that is why they are still unbeaten after 8 games(4 wins/4 draws) and really good performnce yesterday aganist Spurs.

Kean will be saying this week we will try to copy newcastle tactics when playing spurs just like he said rovers would copy bayern munich tactics against man city!!!:lol::lol:

To be fair, Newcastle fans were up in arms when they sacked Hughton. Yet Pardew is doing a great job as it stands. Just proves that sacking Allardyce wasn't a bad move (timing aside), provided Venky's had any clue who should replace him. Instead of hiring a real manager (like Pardew), they went for Kentaro's cabana boy.

You can't compare us to Newcastle. They get 45,000 crowds, we get 23,000, and they have 6m fans worldwide, we probably have about 500,000. As such they're perhaps entitled to expect better than mid-table, we aren't.

It was still risky to the point of reckless for them to sack Hughton because they were improving all the time and who knows how far he could have taken them? Rovers took exactly the same risk. So either they were both bad decisions (which would be my reasoning) or Newcastle's was a good decision because it worked and ours was a bad one because it didn't.
