  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Well after reading that in the Daily Record I would ask one question,

All these people who Back Kean and wish to protest against the ones that don't please bring it on, So I can see the faces and culprits who have helped our club go down the pan and who are helping us get relegated by backing a deluded Manager.

All those who have not protested, he calls his supporters, even though I Know most don't support him, but he has used you none the less to put up his case.

I would love to read this letters and see these people that says he is wonderful, Does he live in Burnley by any chance?

"The supporters love the fact we try to score in every game."

I choked with laughter at that one!

Oh my word he's an absolute joke. And what's all this about receiving letters on a daily basis? Who the clumsy, hit shift + 8 again!! sends letters anymore? And saying what exactly!? "Dear Keano, you can't win a game for sh*t but your football is a jolly good effort. Keep up the spiffing work! V. Rao"

Probably letters like this " Keep it up Keano, we've got another transfer window coming up, that lot in India have still not twigged, reckon we can take em for 6/7 million this time, don't worry about any investigation , renegotiating foreign tv rights for England coming up, but for god sake win a couple of games Charlie and the rest of the sky lads are after more money and are finding it increasingly difficult to big you up, don't worry we can still make the championship for the big exit payday, love J x. Just to reiterate my stance.

I am backing Kean, but would never protest against the protestors. In fact the group I attend matches with are divided on Kean, with some attending the protests, but what unites us is getting behind the team.

The whole situation is not good, and I can only see two solutions:

1- We go on a long run under Kean, where we collect a huge tally of points, which sees us finishing top 10

2 -The protestors get their wish.

But for me to be happy with number 2, it must result in number 1

I feel solution 1 is the most likely...

Did they actually say they were waiting for it?

If I remember correctly, the Pune 9 were told that if a gap should open up, Mrs D would act on the management position.

Given that such a gap appearing with Kean as manager was an inevitability, I used a bit of license.

Stick to facts Phillip

Fact 1. The Prune tippers got told that if a gap opened there would be a change

Fact 2. Simple extrapolation of Kean's performance meant a gap would open inevitably

Ipso facto they were waiting for the gap to open.

abbey is asking the same question on the other thread by the way.

the gap is 4 points from safety meaning a win at Wigan and we still remain in the bottom 3 regardless , heaven forbid if we dont win at Wigan that gap will widen and we'll have reached the point of no return

Or 3. We limp along as we are doing now until we're relegated.

Everybody's allowed their own opinions but for the life of me, I can't see how you think solution 1 is the most likely. Is it because a poor chelsea side only scored once against us?

Out of pure interest can you explain how you come to that conclusion?

I have a feeling the guy is not going anywhere and will still be in charge even if we get relegated

I have a similar feeling in my gut too. If my memory serves me correctly Kidd was sacked when were 19th in the Championship after taking us down? And then we had our hero owning the club, who clearly had his head screwed on and the club's best interest at heart. Now we are owned by Bond Villian's so god knows what is going to happen.

They have just shown no logical consistency by sacking Big Sam and sticking with Kean, it would actually make more sense if they were on there 3rd/4th manager by now. This lack of consistency in their judgements throw's a huge question mark over the intentions of people behind the scenes and the owners themselves.

We could have a situation similar to West Ham on our hands this season. Gold and Sullivan failed to get someone better in and they stuck with Avram Grant and got relegated. Even if Venky's decided it was time to change manager, they would no doubt mess potential managers around and end up stuck with Kean.

I hate him. Its actual hatred, and its horrible. It won't be long until there's a fan attacking him. I don't condone that sort of behaviour one bit, but what on earth is he trying to achieve by winding so many people up? And why all the lies? I ignored the plane Steve, I specifically watched you. You watched that plane approach, then walked from your technical box to the brick wall next to the tunnel.

Funny that he says the players saw the plane and it upset them but he didn't.

He is a liar
