Just a thought why don't we have a "We support Kean Protest" Wonder how many would turn up ?

I think it is beyond all realms of sanity that anyone can think Kean deserves to be the manager of OUR fine club. He is the custodian of our dreams and hopes for Rovers, right now he has turned those dreams into a nightmare. For far too long now he has bigged himself up as the man to lead us up the league, yet results continue to suggest otherwise. And instead he is fast approaching the position of being the worst manager (%of wins wise) ever - since the inception of the premier league, enough said.

Great Idea all wear white clothing seems appropriate and gives a clear surrender message, no banners or white flags though as this is a protest for the manager and protest is now banned at Camp Venky. edit - Also we can't let such a celebration pass without giving credit to the man who made it possible, so how about Anderson masks

Damn Somebody beat us to it , the pro kean protest is already in full swing part 1

After reading the quotes from Kean attributed to him in the Scottish Daily Record, I have never felt so disgusted about anything related to Rovers.

He dismisses and insults the fans of his own club, it is unheard of. I've never known such brazen arrogance and dishonesty from a manager in decades of following football. His statement is virtually an incitement for confrontation between his own fans. That is totally beyond contempt.

There ought to be a chain of command at Rovers as there is everywhere else. Kean should be responsible to a Senior Executive who ought to carpet him for this.

There is of course no such structure at Ewood. The owners are never here, the manager is only responsible to them and he can say and do whatever he wants with impunity. And he does.

A previous thread asked "would we support the manager if he won games?"(or similar).

I won't duck it by saying he won't get the points, my answer is an equivocal "no". Such a revolting little man with no morals ,manners, honesty or decency has no place at a family club like Rovers, which we used to be.

Its no longer just about whether he can turn the League position around, for me its whether we can allow this pollutant to continue to infect Ewood.

Never felt so angry as when I read that interview.

Spot on... My contempt for this vile creature grows with every word he utters!

How anybody supports this snake is completely bemusing...

I also think a big part of the problem is the internet, or lack of it...

On the one hand you have a group of fans with virtually limitless access to information, both real and conjecture, and all of the associated press stories.

But then think about how many people still don't use the internet all that much? What's their view of things? They'll know nothing [or very little] of the alleged links to the agents, the deranged comments by the Manger regarding his [perceived] support, the rumours surrounding the setup, finances, structure and so on.

I don't know how much detail the local rags go into but judging from their content online I doubt it's a balanced and reasoned view!

Reckon those "free" thinkers will have to be liberated before the support is every going to be truly united - on the surface of things the team is playing better of late, performances [if not results] have improved and I'm sure there are many who think [like they are being told by Kean] that it's only a matter of time before we start improving.

47er - where do we go? We have an incompetent manager who's also a liar - overseen by owners who are also incompetent and liars. Between them, they run the club. How can the club possibly move forward with this situation?

Liar is a strong word and I don't use it without consideration, but what else can you call both of them?

It's about time the Lancashire Telegraph stood up and ran a few editorials spelling out the truths to these people, like they used to do in the good old days. That would put as much pressure on them as any managed demo could do.

It's hard to dispute the facts, even for the more accepting fans who feel yet more time should be given. The irrefutable fact is that the pattern of the season so far means that not enough points would be gained to keep the club in the division, I'm like others, I hope the corner can be turned but still have no support for the man in charge of the team and think he's a bad figurehead for the club.

But the greater problem lies with the senior management structure - I think a good, experienced Chairman (not SGE please!) - is a must - but is there enough time for them to do anything productive during the remainder of the season or has the die been cast already?

Wish I knew Den. I think 3000 fans have already made their minds up that they are not going to Ewood and I assume they'll be joined by more as results continue to dismay and more eyes open. Will tell in the long run.

I agree with you about the value of informed publicity.

I'm not in the know about what's going on at the club but some say they know a lot. I think its up to them to get it all out in the open, not so hard to approach a reporter on the quiet surely?

LT clearly doesn't have the courage, it would have to be the nationals or BBC or SKY. Wikileaks?!!!

Venkys need shaming into action, but that's only if they are not the problem.

Looking at the interview after the game, Kean at the end had a knowing smirk on his face when asked about whether his job was at risk.

All very annoying, he knows that his job is safe no matter what it seems. If this is indeed the case the important question is why ?

His record to date is appalling, his inexperience is letting us down constantly ( losing a 3-1 lead at norwich etc ) I am getting to the

point where the spotlight has got to go on the Venkys because they must have an ulterior motive to back kean so strongly in the face of

the evidence. They dont care about the fans that is obvious, they have obviously got a hidden agenda flying in the face of the facts.

I know a lot of people recently who have given up on them and wont spend any more money on the rovers. As long as this situation

continues this is going to get worse. Its looking like we are witnessing the end of our premier league tenure for the forseeable

future if nothing changes.

Kean being the snake he is will manipulate the figures to his advantage, ie if people are staying away then the remainder must support him 100%

Now we're allegedly in for Ibisevic: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-chase-Hoffenheim-forward-Vedad-Ibisevic-article828175.html

First Dos Santos and now Ibisevic. I wonder how much is real and how much is to give hope to the supporters so the protesters back off?

That's was its for - see highlighted. It's being going on for the past month or so. Ok so its also the start of the build up to the next transfer window so expect a lot more speculation. Makes you think that someone at Rovers is actually doing something when they're probably not.

When did the owners themselves make any sort of announcement about anything. The Raos seem IMO to have gone very quiet - must be still waiting for those results/wins/points to ''automatically'' arrive as V. Rao said post Pune.

Seems to me there is enough "advance intelligence" in that Daily Record article to actually have Kean banned from attending the next home game for inciting clashes of pro and anti Kean

IMO it's Kean and his cronies who started that rumour about a protest against the protesters that led to the Banned Banner ban - BBB Day a day that will live in infamy and now he's openly inciting unrest.

I said somewhere else maybe on this thread that in near 50 years of following Rovers and football in general that I have never heard of any manager of any club activly doing such a despictable and probably unlawful thing. He should be sacked for this alone.

Whatever the future holds those running Rovers at all levels will never be forgiven by me for trampling on basic human rights - the right to protest peacefully. Add to that the loud music, fan intimidation and the rest.

Can't believe he is still here, with such a run of terrible results (I don't care if he was unlucky at the weekend, he was bloodly lucky against both arsenal and down at craven cottage).

Its now clear from reading posts on this board and others that no matter what this waster achieves most will never support him.

I will never ever give this fool any support of any kind. He is laughing, not at the protestors but at the people whio support him. He must know how crap and out of his leauge he is. I attend as many matches as I can with work and so on but I will never again enter Ewood while this THING is at my club. And I know several others who haven't been in over a month and won't go back! We have to support the players they are our only hope once the idiot is gone.

I can't take it, it's awful.

Fans are divided/ apathetic. Manager incapable. Owners ... well I can't even find the words for them. They make the keystone kops look like a crack outfit. Agents allegedly with their snouts in the trough. Organised dissent crushed. Results are appalling. The steady hands and wise heads have been pushed out. All within 12 months.

If you sat down 12 months ago and tried to come up with a nightmare scenario for the club, you couldn't have done better.

It makes me very sad indeed and where we go from here I really do not know. It's knocked the stuffing out of me. I've really toned down my drinking in the last few years, but I can see myself absolutely paralytic on double brandies come 5 pm two Saturdays hence.
