  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

For the Swansea game we need the crowd on its feet for 90 minutes:

We want Kean OUT

We want Venky's OUT

followed by Rovers Till I Die

Nothing else left to do. The players know we support them, the club knows we love it...........................we just have to rid ourselves of these appalling imposters

I think it might be Robbo. He has made sure he has come over to the supporters at the end of the games, he has patted the badge and the look on his face seems to say he's with us. I could be wrong but that's the feeling I get.

There aren't many things at Rovers that make me feel a bit heartened at the moment, but when I see Robbo do that, I feel better somehow.

I'd punt for one of the players who didn't sign a new contract, has Robbo? The senior players who did sign on most likely want to protect their interests and fair play to them for that, most people would do the same it's a short career.

Appreciate they get paid well, however you would think some of the senior players might tire of continously losing matches, can't be that much fun even if we are playing the best football since Brazil in the 1970s.

I agree with this 100%

Not going to happen Paul.

'You're embarrasing', 'get behind the club', 'these protests will relegate us, not Kean or Venky's' will be your responses.

The fans have been dvided and pitted against each other by Kean, his cohorts and an ignorant media.

It could be 'Mr Positive' Jason Roberts, now he is out of the team he could have turned against Kean.

He wasn't even on the bench v Chelsea so maybe there has been a fall out.

Would buy that !!!

Not seen it anywhere, other than Roberts on twitter, that Roberts injured.

Rumoured he wasn't at Ewood but chose to sit at Old Trafford and I haven't seen any denial of this yet and now linked, out of the blue, with QPR !

IMO, sums the guy up - had these issues with Sam when not playing.

However, whoever it is, hope they can persuade some of their fellow team mates to grow a pair - tell Venk'y if he's not sacked, they will let their feeliongs be more widely known !!!

I heard from Brockhall last year, not long after Kean took charge, that the senior players were almost all against Kean - mainly to do with his bad attitude, but obviously incorporating his inexperience.

The lad who gave me my info has left the club for City since then, so I don't know what the situation is now - but I can only assume it's worsened with Kean's clear inability to manage the club.

Just because Kean insists players are behind him doesn't make it true.

I am looking to pull something together, but I need either the VIDEO or AUDIO links to the following Kean quotes:

- "Champions league in 3/4 seasons"

- "Substancial transfer budget"

- "Top 10 finish"

- "Number of entries in their box" (post Villa game)

- "Dew on the grass" (post Everton game I think)

- "I didn't see the plane" (post Chelsea)

- any "we were excellent" quotes

Thanks in advance - it will be worth it!

Talked to Venky's this morning, Kean still not getting sacked. Everyone is telling them to sack Kean now, I am told that this includes one very senior player. Yet they won't. Completely ridiculous decision which is going to eventually get the club relegated and lead to a whole host of problems. There is absolute no way of getting through to the owners who serious the situation is.

If this is true Kamy then, IMO, there's no way something very corrupt cannot be going on. Nobody would be THIS stupid. The sooner it's brought out into the public the better, I hope one of the tabloid journos decides to go for it and get enough info to start revealing the true reason Venky's are here and why they refuse to sack Kean.

What I do not understand about all of this is that if any of this is true, why are the press not sniffing around?

It makes such good copy - Indian owners, Premier League club, Agents, underhanded dealings, protesting fans, lunatic manager. One would think that someone would dig away at this and make a name for themselves.

So, it is all either crap, or the British press are pussys.

If what Rovers_786 says on the other thread is true, and they are in discussions with 2 managers but aren't getting anywhere with them then it's not THAT stupid. They absolutely HAVE to sack him if he loses at Wigan though.

I'm happy to put up my hand one day and say I was being stupid and naive, but after listening to what a lot of people "in the know" have to say I am rather skeptical that all the allegations are true. I have a more optimistic analysis of the situation, but my expectations for Venky's as owners from the beginning were apparently much lower than a lot of other people, so take that as you will.

The reason for my skepticism is simply that the allegations, as a whole, don't make enough logical sense. I am obviously hopeful I am right in my analysis, as being wrong is a disastrous scenario.

Senior players speaking up, main sponsors speaking up, board members speaking up, yet they still don't get it over in Pune.

Okay then, but the truth of the matter is that we have a terrible manager and one of our main ground sponsors (a long term sponsor) is deeply unhappy, but worse still is being completely ignored.

Those are two facts regardless of whether you want to believe anything else.

Can we talk about something positive :-) Like getting the away end at Wigan as colourful as possible to roar rovers on, we can have two sided banners, Support for 90 Minutes singing our hearts out for three points, and if things go pear shaped, we can turn our banners round and give Kean his medicine for his weekly positive statement

Why does anyone believe a loss at Wigan this time round will make any difference at all?
