His comments on his new contract, to me, suggest that it is just a matter of timing before it is announced.

Yep, its pretty obvious that they are just waiting for a win, to annonce it after that. What a devastating moment that will be. And there is nothing we can do about it.....makes you just want to vomit

charlie nobless at it again, what a hyprocrite, he talks about martinez churning out the same excuses, saying they have been playing poorly and that there will be a time when whelan will have to say enough is enough, steve kean is in exactly the same position and yet whenever he talks about his 'mate' kean, he has the completely oposite view, @#/? and then that thicko merson saying he feels sorry for kean because 'hes had no luck' tossers.

Sam went with 21 points in the bag after 17 games, and it was the buffer we needed inspite of cocos best efforts to send us down.

So by that logic kean needs 14pts from the next 5 games to match a total that was'nt considered good enough to keep a good manager in a job.

Can anyone see us winning 5 on the spin..did'nt think so, gonna start getting used to watching the football league show and not MOTD.

He said this week that the away fans were the real fans.

But for most of the 2nd half all I could hear was 'Kean out'

So which or who or where are the real fans, the majority, the ones who support him, the ones he meets and greets in the village.

You've killed our club Steve. Rovers are going down under your so called managing and we won't ever be coming back into the top division. I don't give a fig about your feelings or if you work hard, you are a disgrace.

Just (Please don't use that word again) off.

If he had any integrity he'd step down, but that'll never happen while he's on the SEM gravy train.

Of course, he wouldn't have to if we had owners with the least bit of common sense or decency.

Down, down, deeper and down.

The only way Kean will be sacked is if we lose badly 4 or 5 games on the trot.

We were in this emergency situation 2 months ago, people should have been wishing for these defeats then. The draw against Wigan gives Kean at least another month.

Not sure if Venkys were there today,if so the clueless idiots will have come away from the game elated after a rollercoaster game.

We need to start losing NOW..............Bad bad result today.

The cheek of him clicking on to the fact that Rovers fans where applauding Robinson as he came over (the only player to do so...) , and standing on the half way line applauding us and fist pumping the air. No doubt he'll show that Venkys as proof that the fans like him. Words cant describe how much I hate the man.

I've always stuck up for Steve Kean because I feel he doesn't do as bad as people make out.

But today was terrible.

Tactics weren't working. Dunn should have come off at half time. Subs were too late.

And he did himself no favours giving it the big 'un to the fans at the end.

Disappointed.

I feel sorry for the players in all this because they must know all is so far from well it's unbelievable and they are damned if they win- he'll stay- and damned if they lose - the fans are on thier backs. They were dreadful in the first half today but professional pride kicked in and they somehow clawed something back from an apparently lost cause so they obviously care about us or something, but they must wonder how they get rid of the clown and what to do for the best.

No, he does even worse.

How can you even make a statement like that?

P 33

W 6

D 11

L 16

Win % 18.18

19th in the league.

Four points from safety.

1 win in 12 games.

But you're right. People are clearly exaggerating here...

I am no Kean fan, however what gives me some hope is that the fixtures left this year don't look too bad. Plus there is a clutter of clubs just outside the relegation zone.

So we've been playing utter rubbish recently? Getting battered ever week?

Or have we been playing well without getting results?

"it's a results business" I know.

But if you want to repeat every stat that's available; don't bother as I can click "back" on several threads already...yawn.

super_Arran - out of interest, do you think he is the right man to take us forward?

You have clearly been quite kean on him for some time now (excuse the pun).

Not based on todays performance.

It's hit and miss.

We play well against the bigger teams but never seem to get the results which gives me hope that if we play like that against the so called lesser teams; then we'll be alright.

But then we play absolute kack against the poorer teams and the doom and gloom sets in.

Welcome to reality!

Eh?

I don't go in to a game thinking that Kean is going to make mistakes and have his tactics wrong. "that's where you're going wrong etc"

When they're wrong I'll say so.

But if we play well and we're unlucky then I'll say so.

That's reality.

"it's cool to hate"
