  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

According to someone close to the club, the players was under instructions from Kean not to come over and applaud the fans, and he's considering taking action on Robbo for Ignoring his request and doing so...

It did to me look like that after the game had finished that Kean was telling players to get off the pitch etc. IF it's true, then that is a disgrace!

Yes - and he ran onto the pitch at various times during the game and asked them to give disapproving looks in our direction every time we chanted "Kean Out".

Sorry - sounds too much like a conspiracy theory to me.

It seems to me that the only reason he is getting a new contract is so they can sack him on the cheap, they are offering him more a year but less if he gets sacked, it would make sense as soon as he signs to sack him straight away.

They must be thinking on the lines of sacking him if the talk of his contract is correct and at least that is more promising than we back him 100%.

It also now makes perfect sense why he is saying in his press conferences he wants to wait til the team is in a better position before putting pen to paper. A shame that under him we never will be.

can't believe it if some people still wants to give him more time. for about 1 week or so i said that i beleived we wouldn't get relegated because we have actually played quite well last games. But after watching wigan vs rovers i am absolutely certain that we will get relegated with kean managing this team

As bad as that looks for Kean, it doesn't say a lot about our other players than Robbo, to be honest.

Bunch of mercenaries. You'd think at least David Mr Blackburn Rovers Dunn would have acknowledged the fans.

So according to Nicko, the overlords appear to be haggling over 300k in this sacking debate.

Bodes well for appointing a new manager (eventually) doesn't it.

Balaji : "So Mr O'Neil, our last manager was on 800k per year, we're willing to offer you 900k per year"

M O'Neil : "That's very generous, but I was looking for nearer the 1000k mark."

Balaji : "900k is our final offer, we can't offer more".

M O'Neil : "See ya".

Oh well, relegation won't cost much will it.

Dunn is a muppet and always has been can't stand the bloody pie eater.

Souness was right about him when he sold him to Birmingham. "Playboy" he called him, well I suppose he could be at weight watchers.

I wouldn't have expected Dunn to come to the fans, TBH. He had just been sent off in a relegation 6 pointer. I doubt he was exactly in the mood to head over to the fans and would not have expected much of a reception in the circumstances if he had.

This.

If Dunn had come over to the fans we would have recieved a hostile reception for the stupid sending off he got.

Saying that no reason why Pederson/Yakubu shouldnt have come over they would have recieved applause as well.

Kean looked like he directed the players down the tunnel before they even considered coming over, this in itself showed a complete lack of respect for all the fans.

Even if 50% were calling for his head then surely the other 50% deserved a thank you from the players for their continued support.

Kean continues to antagonise the fans if every way possible and does himself no favours at all. :angry2:

Wow - love the negative ratings for daring to mention that maybe (though actually proven on numerous occasions) that the anti-Kean/Venky rumour mill might be wrong.

After reading Tom K and Neal's posts on here last night, I foolishly started hoping that our moronic owners would sack Kean today.

Instead, they're once again making themselves look like complete tits by allegedly trying to make Kean sign a contract that makes it easier for Venky's to sack him in the future.

Top work once again by Wanky's. Just sack the man now, ffs.

We all know how that will end though.

"We have spoken to Mr Kean and he assures us in a month we will be much higher up the table. The ground was infiltrated by a couple of very loud individuals who expressed their minority view which drowned out the much quieter majority. We are very positive after these positive discussions and we are doing the right thing for the club. This is a positive step."

Kean to face a grilling from the club's owners!!!

Lets hope that Balaji gets rid of Kean this week and appoint a proper football manager

If that article is true then surely he can't survive? Though I said the same in the summer and he's still here...

I'm imagining Barry Venky sitting in a meeting room with a Glen Mullan angel on one shoulder and a Jerome Anderson Devil on the other. Nobody else can see them. Devil Anderson thinks he's convinced Barry but the arch-angel Glen uses the trident of hell's own wideboy to chase him out of the room. In an epiphany that he has finally made the right decision in sacking the imposter, Barry does a victory lap (in slow motion) round the table while others look on.
