Once again the Blackburn fans voiced their anger by calling for the owners and manager to leave the club but Kean refuses to be downbeat.

"It's only a minority of fans that aren't behind me and when we are winning everyone is behind the team. It's only when the opposition equalise a small number get frustrated."

:angry2: :angry2:

TBH, he does have a point about fans calling for Kean out when the result isn't going our way, I noticed it again on Saturday, hence it seeming like sour grapes.

I hate the man, and Venky's before people start saying I'm an apologist as well.

Agree what you say but to be fair to the big man, he didn't cut it himself as a manager so is naturally likely to empathise with kean

I think that's it. People see Kean as this poor, unfortunate sap in an impossible job, who has his own fans berating him every week. They aren't aware of Kean's true face. The way he used his connections to oust Sam and get himself in the hotseat, and how he implicated his own club's fans in a criminal charge. They don't know what a little worm he really is.

Also, this isn't the case with Colin I'm sure, but we're a small-time club to the mass media. Who are Blackburn Rovers to get ideas about their station? I still remember our friend Darren Lewis from The Mirror, saying that Rovers were in no position to keep Paul Ince waiting on the managerial job. That's the overriding view the media have on us since we stopped playing with the big boys. Apparently, all Rovers fans should do is count their blessings and back Steve Kean all the way to The Championship.

Well if he honestly feels that is the case next home game why doesn't he come out onto the pitch on his own at 2.50 and stand in the middle and give it the big I am , like he did at the end of the game on Saturday. Besides he got stick when we went behind twice so its not when teams equalise and an easy solution for him, if he still thinks he's cut out to be a football manager, don't let teams equalise ! simple

So, in other words, never?

hope venkys come to thier sense's and sack him, he has collected 29 points from 33 league games, if his reign was a in a full season it would have to be some escape to avoid relegation. My main choices would be these

1) Micheal Laudrup

2) Alan Curbishley

3) Nigel Adkins

4) Carlos Quieroz

Hughes, O'Niell or Guus Hiddink would be an incredibley suprising appointments and i would praise venkys for pulling it out of the bag but i think the top four are more realistic.

I would still be surprised if Kean is sacked this week. I do think the dynamics have shifted following Venky's visit on Saturday to Wigan in terms of both the manager and their future plans for the club.

However, if Kean is bulleted, it would not be a surprise to see an appointment through to th end of the season so I wouldn't rule out anyone who is currently out of work and readily available (including Huhes, Jones, Curbishley). IMV, they would do this to protect their investment whilst looking to sell the club; I would imagine Saturday night was quite painful for them as will be the flight back to India - the penny will have dropped that they've misread this one.

Adkins is a good shout but he has something very special going on at Southampton right now. He knows that if he can keep it up then they will be playing Premiership football next season whereas its a risk for him to take the Rovers job and get relegated, which lets face it is a real possibility after the start to the season we have had under Kean.

I just think even if Kean loses his job as manager, it won't be as simple as that. I have a fear that even if he is removed of his position that he will still be involved in the club in some form or another.

perhaps they can send him back to putting the cones out at training , he was positively brilliant at that, the cones backed him 110%

Just been listening to Colin Hendry on 5-Live supporting Kean.

He was going on about how hard Kean is working and how all the players are right behind him.

Is there some kind of unwritten law that if you are a scot you have to support the plonker Steve Kean?
