  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

yet 33 muppets still say back

Well, the list of them reads like a who's who of wind up merchants on this board, people who argue just for the sake of it. I bet two thirds of them said back him just to be noticed.

A bit like those X Factor contestants who know they are crap but go on the show for their thirty seconds of fame, forever remembered as a pointless prat who disgraced themselves publicly. But because they've had the fame it makes them feel forever special.

Infact those people are just like that.

The rest are Burnley fans.

Some bad news – heard from a very reliable source just now that Kean signed his new deal a few weeks ago.

The club/manager, at this stage, won’t release/announce this information.

Further to my post yesterday, it has now been confirmed - obviously the timing is now right to make this public.....

The under fire Rovers manager dismissed all contract talk this week as ‘much a do about nothing’ but admits it can be seen as another show of faith in him by owners Venky’s.

“I have always felt safe though. Obviously you would like to get a few more results but i feel as though we have been playing well enough and that the lads have been at it, with the exception of a couple of games and we should be in a better position.”

Really Steve you think so, you think a win percentage of 18.18% means only a few more results need to change??

“I don’t know if the people who were protesting will stop protesting. On that side of it i don’t know. I do know we are getting a vast amount of positive mail and any time we meet people from around the town it is all positive. We haven’t had any hostility directed when I have met people at all.”

Not sure what on earth anyone can say about that but difficult to believe anyone apart from Dinlges are congratulating him on the job he has done.

If you have not bought your protest t-shirts or scarfs now is the time to do so.

Venkys are clearing not listening to the fans who see their club crashing out of the EPL.

I agree get your T-shirts/scarfs, No-one is asking you to protest, no-one is asking you to take part in the concourse walkout at home to Swansea, No-one is asking you what you can or can't sing. Whatever your stance on protest please please, get the yellow and black and stick a visual message out there that its not a minority os supporters who want Kean gone and not a minority not happy with Venkys.

Yes I agree a minority have taken part in protests before and after games, but the T-Shirt and scarf protest is something everyone can do regardless of their previous stance on protest.

Supporters need to stand together and show unity, that its a unified opinion that we do not want Steve Kean as our Manager.

The only winners here are the eBay merchants, Glen.

No one can do anything about this situation. Kean's as safe as houses, and if a group of angry protesters didn't do the job, I doubt a bunch of woolly scarves will hit the spot. We're f**cked eight ways from Sunday and that's it.

Thats the response they are hoping for with the contract saga, however do we just resign ourselves? Ok I admit these new owners seem a tough nut to crack however that don't mean we give up and accept our club is royally screwed. Quite the opposite, and when Steve Kean finally walks out that door, it will be the supporters having the final laugh

Agreed Topman, we are getting shat on from every angle. Does that mean l enjoy it? NO. Does that mean l'm gonna sit here and take it? NO. I'll wear the yellow and black to show l support the team but not the owners or manager.

They can shat on me all they want but there is no way on this earth l'll say "OK, I ain't gonna achieve anything protesting, l'll just slip back into line, pay my money and shut up like a good little fan". Feck that, this has gone way beyond us achieving goals. This is now about self respect and trying to uphold Jacks legacy.

Kean and Venky's are laughing in our faces, look at Kean last week after the match. I will not be silent and l will not give up showing my displeasure just because l know it won't have an effect. I'm p1ssed off and l'll show it each week.

You will not silence me because it it doesn't affect you - YOU WILL NOT SILENCE ME PERIOD !!!

Hopefully he'll feel unsafe both at Stoke away and at the home match v Swansea, due to the Rovers fans hurling so much abuse at him that he'll fear for his own safety (not that I'm advocating inflicting physical injury - just making him feel the hate from the fans).

May he perish in flames.

Not really mate..he gets paid handsomely and walks into a managerial position in the championship. Hes the winner full stop.....fuuck knows who they'll get in to replace him.....now that worries me just as much.

"We haven’t had any hostility directed when I have met people at all.”

Oh dear, Mr Kean.

You do realise that you have to walk right in front of the Rovers supporters at Stoke tomorrow, before the game, don't you...?

Because in Brockhall village it's like the Truman Show Andy, l'm sure it's set up with Kean as the main character.

I wish l was there tomorrow, can someone please show their disdain twice as much for me please :tu:

He does not know his ass from his elbow so how on earth would he know the lay out of a football stadium?

This "positive mail" thing is absolute ridiculous. Seriously, just stop and look at what he's saying. It is, quite literally, like something out of a sitcom. You just wouldn't believe a quote like that was real if somebody told you.

Looks like Kean's been out for a wander in the village/town in his head again. If he's so confident maybe he'd like to invite a camera crew to follow him around Blackburn and see how positive the response is...?

As already stated, someone needs to contact Louis Theroux

Time warp. I'm stuck in a perpetual time warp.

The guy isn't well. He needs care. This is tantamount to, if not actually, an issue under the MHA (1983) as amended. (Assuming he has an honest belief in his statements). So often contrary to fact and yet seeking to maintain such positivity that it risks becoming delusional.

My head hurts from all this. I have followed Rovers for c. 30 years. Never have I felt so despondent.

The worst ting he has said for me was this from last week:

Were we good enough for 3 ponts vs Norwich? Yes. Were we good enough for a point aginst Chelsea? Yes. Could we have had 3 vs Tottenham? Yes. You add all those points together and we are halfway up the league".

Seems like it's "watch out Man City" in slaphead's mind. I hope he gets a smack today...
