Similar to the knitting pattern for your christmas jumper - but with better cover from the wingers for the full backs

Ah, thanks for the I'm with stupid thing. [edit - you changed it to a smilie].

So I take it you don't know then, - unless you mean the formation has been much improved, in which case you had better explain how? The full backs have had more cover - from whom - Hoilett and Rochina?

Enjoyed a few days break, Not logging onto a computer has felt like heaven but now i'm all recharged.

Good to see Paul Hunt doing a few interviews as this was one of the things I did say to him a couple of weeks ago that he needed to be doing, so full respect.

Rob Palmer contacted me from SKY claiming that Steve Kean's PR guy had been in touch regarding Soccer Saturday. Kean claimed the show, Merson, Nicholas etc had treated him unfairly and he deserved some good press after his great performance as the Rovers Manager.

The show asked if I would do an interview, (WEC Also done one) to be aired this saturday, Not to disappoint young Kean, I answered the questions honestly as Sky played devils advocate, and gave Kean just the opposite of what he wanted for this weekends show.

I made it clear that No other employee in the history of the club has had a crowd so determined to get rid of them, and that Kean had burnt his bridges and there is no way back for him, from the majority of the crowd.

I also told them there is 2 camps PRO and ANTI protest, however I told them that this should not be mistaken from the one umbrella most supporters sit under which is the Majarity of supporters want Kean out.

Hope you enjoy it Steve :-)

great oppertunity, I hope you address the fact that its not just Kean's results but it's he delusional lies that really bother fans, claiming 98% are supporting him and 99.8% of the online community want him sacked, yet he still calims he has support of a "majority".

Don;t look to be too much a gentleman even though you are, you are better when you got a bit agressive and hard hitting, then the soft passive approach which Kean can counter much more easily.

Well said Glen, Kean is definitely an arrogant unpleasant incompetent person.

However he is a lackey of venkys, somehow we need to turn up the heat on them also, they have created the problems we face by their bad , misguided

incompetent management since they took over. Only question is how can it be done.

The bloke has given himself so much rope it's a question of when and not if he hangs himself(metaphorically)I've got a funny feeling off the pitch antics(comments against fans, inciting fans etc etc) will get him sacked.

Good man yourself! Shove that up your @r$e Steve Kean. He and the press need to know that this isn't just something we will get bored with and forget about. We want this cretin out our of club.

As for the comments about wanting a bit more credit from the guys on Soccer Saturday, he must be having a laugh. I remember watching the show last year, whenever Nichlos made a spiteful remark about to Phil Thompson (who I think is a complete to$$er) about the size of his nose, after Thompson had questioned Nichlos' reservations about criticising the appointment of Kean and his record after a number of losses, because Nichlos is represented by the same crowed that represent Kean.

Now I haven't seen much of the show this season, so I don't know what the general attitude has been, but I nearly had a stroke last week when I heard Paul Merson's (a guy who I actually think is a good pundit, but just doesn't have the vocabulary to articulate his points fully) remarks after the Swansea game. He couldn't understand why the Rovers fans were protesting and what they wanted. He thought that it was a joke and that Steve Kean should go and protest outside the protesters place of work and shout for them to get fired!

But the fact that Kean is looking for praise after one win reinforces the idea that this guy is an arrogant sod, who sees himself as being untouchable, that he sees himself as one of the big boys now and that he naively believes that one win will change the fans opinion of him. Only someone as deluded as Kean could see this happening.

I hope he watched Soccer Saturday tomorrow before the game and chokes with anger as the fans continue to throw two fingers up at him and embarrass him!

Merson has a goldfish memory. Against Norwich Merson was quite critical of Kean's substitutions, saying they had a big part to play in not getting three points.

For those who haven't watched Soccer Saturday - they are shockingly uninformed about the club's situation. They go VERY easy on Kean and constantly slam the fans for the protests, not only that but they've lied about the amount of people who have stayed behind to protest and openly ridiculed those involved in the protests. The most they've done is blame Venky's and shifted all the blame to them... which makes me wonder if this PR call is an order from Venky's rather than Kean. Nicholas in particular has been very vocal in criticising Venky's, and as it's almost impossible to seperate where Kean ends and Venky's begin an insult to them ends up becoming an insult to him.

It's great that Glen is going to have a platform like soccer saturday to put across his views, but the panelists, some of whom I used to think talked sense should also apologise unreservedly for their behaviour over the past couple of months. Their 'analysis' has been nothing short of disgraceful and their attitude towards fans that have nothing but genuine love for the club quite frankly has stunk.

Disappointed particularly in Stelling and Le Tissier, both of whom I thought had level heads. Expected no less from the likes of Merson, Thompson or Nicholas.

If his inept record as a football manager and the fact he is taking a multi-million pound business towards the near bankruptcy of the lower divisions doesn't get him sacked i don't think owt will. Maybe the only thing would be if he fell out with one of the Rao mob and did or said something to upset them, apart from that the goon is fire proof

Kean keeps going on about how we miss Ryan Nelsen and how great it will be to have him back.

Two questions for Kean:

Who's decision was it to play him at Villa and aggravate his knee thereby setting him back by at least 4 months - sounds like a bit of an own goal to me:

Who will be left out to accommodate Nelsen - Samba (our captain) or Dann (Kean's big money signing).

Exactly! He just blew over half his summer budget on a defender, and now he can't wait for one we already had at the club to come back to replace him! I actually agree but it says it all about how mediocre Dann has been and how poor Kean generally is in the transfer market.

Is this an open admission from Kean that his signing Dann just isn't doing it for the club.

Can't see him walking away, so he'll have to be sacked if we want rid.

I think I saw a quote from him a few weeks back, saying that he'd told his wife that this opportunity could be the making of him as a manager. Nothing at all wrong with a man having ambition, but I get the impression that this ambition would come before the good of Rovers. He knows that if he fails here, he wont get another opportunity - and he knows that this was an opportunity that he never expected would come his way in the first place. This is a one-off chance for Kean. The character of the man simply leads me to believe that he'll do all in his power to cling onto this opportunity. Even if the signs are that he's taking the club down, even if the odds of keeping us up are stacked up against him, I don't see him giving up his personal ambitions.

Not seen that quote den but I completely agree.

Also agree with the point further up that the only time his job has looked in danger was in the aftermath of his "forfeit" gaffe.

I think our league position might get him sacked eventually, but not until it is weeks too late for us. Our only chance (baring a miracle and him turning it around) is that he talks himself out of a job by embarrassing the venks.

Or Gael Givet, the best CB out of all 4.

A bit like Cameron pulling out of europe so ultimately he can stay in Number 10.
