  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

I know. You were part of a Venkys PR stunt as I (and others) said repeatedly before you went. You were part of a hoax to fool people that Venkys listened to the fans and cared.

In hindsight you are probably right, however at the time we made a judgement... I would rather have tried and not been listened to, than not tried at all. Having said that, if we (the FF) got a call to say that Venkys are in town and wanted to meet up, I'd be there because if there was even a tiny chance we could affect a better relationship between Venkys and the fans I'd owe it to myself, rovers fans I've known for years and the support in general to do what I could to try and resolve this whole sorry mess the club finds itself in.

Things need to start "spilling over"

Tuesday beckons.......another "Cup Final"..........

Post-match quote after the Bolton game "we've just got to pick worselves up and get back on the training ground and fix it. The owners, the players and the majority of fans understand what we are trying to do here.

If we all stick together, we can get positive outcomes at Old Trafford and Anfield".

I don't disagree with the rest of what you've written but "in hindsight"?????

Yours not mine!

Nonsense.

EVERY club has a minority that will go to the lengths of marches, protests outside the main stand etc- I've been one of those fans.

The rest will just do their usual matchday routine- they are still fans and most of them are still upset.

The cameras and mics are present inside the ground, so it's most vital that a load of fans vent from the stands- today thousands did.

Nonsense? What's nonsense? The fact that out of 20000 only a couple of hundred chose to try and do something and voice their opinion, again. If people got off their lazy arses then maybe Kean would have gone long ago, but yet again a tiny minority choose to be active. The Rovers fans seem to have accepted what's gone on and bent over. What's the point in pretending to be against the regime whilst sat in the blues bar? You're talking ###### pal

I've said before, the supporters get what they deserve.

Too many have sat on arses and done SFA.

Please don't knock those who have tried to make a difference.

Unfortunately, not enough are passionate enough and not enough care enough.

We have a premiership team with conference fans. I have been consistently shocked by the level of apathy amongst the majority of “fans”. The ones that grumble that kean/venkys are destroying the club but do nothing. It’s the we’ve tried nothing and we are all out of ideas mentality.

Sure the protests have so far failed but at least we tried and are trying. The protesting fans have the long term interests of the club at heart and have tried to bring about NECESSARY change. From what I’ve seen they are also the best fans that generate atmos both home/away and are let down by the rest our equivalent of the prawn sandwich eaters.

I’m sure people will look back when we are languishing in league one or two and wonder if whether there had been 5,000, 10,000 more on the protests it may have brought about change. But we will never know.

I’m certainly not blaming the fans who have stuck their heads in the sand and gone with blind faith for our demise but they haven’t helped.

Shame that courtesy doesn't often extend to those that tried to make a difference by talking direct to the owners in India.

If there is anybody reading this who is one of the majority of fans understand what we are trying to do here please tell me - because I do not know what the xxxx Kean is trying to do.

Positive outcomes at Old Trafford and Anfield - oh dear Coco actually does need some decent help and therapy.

Your right BigAl, i thought the same when i went into the Blues. I only heard about 3 people along with myself boo when Keans face came on the tv's.

Booing at the TV in the blues bar?

Did that make you feel better? Because it had no effect on anything else.

Keep it real, people!!

Saying it is just a Rovers fan issue is nonsense, ALL clubs have a majority of fans that won't go the extra mile.

When the Liverpool fans wanted out Hicks and Gillett I went on a Liverpool forum, there were posts just like yours furious that only a couple of hundred turned up for a rally in which they had brought in guest speakers, bands etc. That when they talked to fans in the pub, most didn't have a clue about what was going on or didn't sem to care. That only a small minority marched.

Sound familiar?

Feckin hell Topman, it must be getting to you!

You have previous, Mercer. If it isn't Twitter lies, it's some ITK bookie who's winding you up.

It raises people's hopes and usually kills the server unnecessarily.

I'll wait until I see it in black & white.

Yes, "we" are trying to destroy a club. The positive outcomes at Anfield and O.T. will be that we were holding them to a draw before the kick off.

The difference is their couple of hundred is usually a couple of thousand. I'm not looking for an argument, I'm just infuriated with so many people sat there with all the gear and then hiding afterwards. Patronise my post all you want, i don't care anymore. I'm just devastated to see what has happened to the club I've loved for as long as I can remember

Ah! You're misunderstanding me! Kean didn't say that--I did! It was my take on the up-coming press conference after the Bolton game.

my fault---sorry! But its comforting somehow that you thought it was him! Confirmation sort of!

I'm not patronising you at all.

I've long realised that a lot of football fans just arent like us. They go to a game on a Saturday to watch their team and don't give the club much thought otherwise.

It really read like Keanspeak although I wondered why Kean had not mentioned the Bolton game

To repeat what someone else said, we are all different and deal with grief and anger in various ways. Some want to kick the door in, some accept it and are resigned, others seek the sanctity of the pub, mope and stare into a glass of beer, others simply want to fade away as if it never happened and go back to their home and family, like geographical distance from tragedy and familiar surroundings brings comfort.

Can't argue with any of those responses really, we just have to deal with it as it is.

If you had not been so arrogant and done the Job properly in Pune and since your return just maybe we would not be having to protest, You had a ###### attitude when you went Pune and have had a ###### one since you came back, with FF members like you who needs enemies.

This aint about having heard of anyone or anything, this aint a conquest, I have been going on rovers on 30 years, and what I do is out of love for my club and the town I was born. I don't want a medal, or tea and biscuits at Rovers, I want a club to support until I die and one for my children and my childrens children to support. I do what I do because I care and it means so much to me, If I was cut open I would be Blue and white throughout.

Did I expect a different repsonse from you???????????

Not at all because you have been peddling the same c**p since you got a ticket to Pune

Jesus, you need a break my friend. Reading this post made me cringe.....

havent read all the posts today but may i add that for my (regular) followers the guy who stormed off against spurs, when the chant went around when rover were losing 1-0 i stood up and chanted 'kean out' the guy in front of me joined in and the prick behind (the walk out guy) called him a nob (the guy who joined in kean out chants) well the 'walk out guy' called him that but i looked at the 'walk out guy' and he said nothing to me, boy did i feel like punching him in the face and then he started by winding people up by singing even more ferioucley, never have i hated a man (kean) more for turning supporter on suppoerter.
