  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

So when it is finally staring them in the face the LET have finally printed what supporters have been saying for months - what took them so long ?

Cryer should have stuck his neck out and written the obvious when there was a chance the club's predicament was salvagable. It's probably far too late now.

If he goes today, Rovers have a 12th man tomorrow night!!!

Do the right thing and put us and his family out of our misery !!

He is a dead man walking, regardless of tomorrow's result.

The crowd have turned, we will devour his remains if he is on the touchline tomorrow.

the clown is on SSN now! :(

the smirk on his face! :angry2:

unbelievable, says he had long phone call yesterday contents of call(acording to kean)-blamed player injuries for poor results, says his job was never discussed, spoke about january transfers, blahblahblah.

asked by a reporter how he deals with all the critisism, he says when you win you get patted on the back but you just take it with i a pinch of salt (liar, he dines out on it for weeks on the very rare ocasions we have won), and when you lose and get critised you just shrug it of.

honestly there will be REAL trouble at the ewood if hes still there after the bolton game(regardless of the result) ii genuinaly believe there will be riots, you could feel it brewing whilst leaving the ground on saturday, all it takes is 1 person to kick off and it will spark real trouble.

Well I believe him.

He is an extension of the Rao's.

If it is due to him developing friendships with the owners, owners that are well into that 'loyalty', 'positivity' guff, his agent or that he really does own a stake in the club, his position is like on other manager's in football.

God help us.

I’m so beaten down by the last 12 months I still just can’t picture the day when that cretin has finally gone. I can’t see us rock bottom in league two with him saying still capable of top 10 finish.

One thing is for sure when/if he goes all artillery needs focusing on the venkys.

He says he spoke with the owners for 45 minutes yesterday and there was no suggestion that his job is under threat.

I believe him, not that his job wasn't under threat but that he probably has during that 45 minute conversation managed to convince Mrs D to give him more time.

Total and utter farce.

If tried my best to not get involved with the is thread due to us being here so many times before.

My point is that those wishing for Souness, Hughes etc. Need to think that through. Venky's can't even sack this imposter want kind of message does that send to the football world on how the club is being run? I'd run a thousand miles if I was them, Rovers are dying a slow death with Kean and I don't believe it will end today, tomorrow, or after the Bolton game. I just have a feeling that this job isn't about football. It's more deep rooted than that. I hate the man so much. But his safety I think like others have said will undoubtedly be tested if he remains in charge.

Venky's are the cause of this and IF Kean somehow remains in charge then serious questions by everyone if football need to be asked? (This should have happened months ago)

I was so close to throwing my season ticket and scarf on the pitch once we got beat against WBA. I have a feeling that their will be alot more people who were either in the same position or maybe even worse. Kean is destroying the club before our eyes and their is nothing we can do about it. I don't care what anyone says. Against Bolton I'm giving him hell the whole game regardless of a win. A win would just be as damaging as it would for sure just paper over the cracks for the Venky's and everything would be rosey again.

Scum Out!

Well done Andy Cryer and the LT. Don't underestimate the power that the LT has.

Two massive point made here - Kean needs to go and Venky's need to either get their arses over here and sort this mess out, or sell the club.

The idea that Kean can take the Bolton game doesn't stack up with me. If Kean's gone then we might have a great atmosphere tomorrow night, - if he's still here then the place will have another poisonous atmosphere.

get rid today Venky's.

I fully agree with you, Den. Kean going today would be a massive boost to the fans before the game against Bolton. I honestly believe that if Kean went now then we would have a fighting chance of avoiding relegation.

LET have rightly been criticised for failing to speak out strongly before now but they have shown great courage today to stand up and be counted. Thanks must go to them for the great leader comment headed 'Time to go, Steve'.

As for Kean, not only do they 'call for his head today' but point out that even a win tomorrow 'shouldn't be enough to save him'.

They also recognise that 'Kean's tenure has just been a symptom of the main problem at the football club and that problem is the inadequacy of Venky's management'. They call on Venky's to deliver on the promises they made or 'put Rovers up for sale'.

Kean Out - today !

Venky's - put up or sell up !

I thought as much.

No need to get excited UNTIL he is officially fired.

"I spoke with the owners for about 45 minutes yesterday (Sunday)," Kean told Sky Sports News HD.

"We had a real good conversation, mentioning again the health of some of the players because we have got a few that are falling at the moment.

"We will look forward to the transfer window opening and see if we can get a few bodies in that can hit the ground running straight away and make an impact."

Words cannot adequately express my utter contempt for this odious, nefarious, incompetent, smug little ####.
