I seriously do not think he will go. If it's not happened now then Venkys must be that stubborn that they are trying to prove that they will not be bullied by pressure from fans or media. I'm beginning to believe that he's going to be here into January and allowed to spend what money becomes available - and when you actually start to believe that the world becomes a much darker place.

I saw his press conference earlier on. God every time I see him and hear him, I hate him even more. Sitting there smirking away, like the cat that got the cream. I would just love it if one reporter would have the balls to say "Steve, you've been in charge for an entire season now, you've won 7 games, surely you would agree that your record is abysmal and if you were at another club, with proper owners, you would have been fired by now?" That would wipe the smirk off his smug chops.

I think it's safe to say that if we lose or draw against Bolton and he remains in charge then he will be here until our relegation is confirmed at best. If he survives the summer then he will be here until the end of his contract (or longer  ). What planet are Venky's on?

"We have to stare the table in the face and face up to it. We have to think we are in this position because we don’t have enough points".

“We have to face up to it, know where we are and not pretend we are not in this position. We have to stare it right in the face.”

“Because the players don’t play well with the ball for one half of one game does not mean there is any sign of the negativity getting to them".

Is this the same man who kept talking about Europe and top ten when we were languishing in the relegation places earlier in the season? how anybody in the press or in our team can take this moron seriously is beyond me. He has no idea what he's doing - luckily for him, the only person with less of a clue happens to be the main decision maker at the club.

Any thoughts on flouting the banner ban?

It absolutely has to be well and truly flouted IMO. If only 50 people with the time and wherewithal see fit to paint 'Kean Out' or 'Venky's Out' on an old bed sheet, smuggle it into Ewood and unveil them simultaneously at a pre-arranged time, the impact will be instant and clearly visible. If the stewards then decide to attempt to confiscate them, the ensuing chaos will be even more welcome publicity.

Now if 200 or 300, perhaps even 500 did it? Happy days. :)

Btw. How about a rendition of "there's only one Steve Kean" tomorrow night and upon his acknowledgement all fall about laughing, followed by chants of "you don't know what you're doing"?

#

A chant of "Keano give us a wave" was tried on Saturday, but the arrogant gobsh1te just stood there in the technical area ignoring it. He obviously knew what reaction he would have got if he had waved. The man is a Grade 1 tw@t.

I'm very surprised nobody has jumped over the fence and clocked him one, not that I advocate such action and neither does this website.

Has a manager who has such a shocking record, who faces such vitirol from the crowd- the club's paying customers, who is a figure of fun in the press, EVER lasted this long?

I would say no. So, the question is WHY?

He has the 2 brothers balls locked in a safe.......

Or something damaging on them !!

Incompetence of owners is too simple an answer.

It has to be something more otherwise its a trick question.

Ever get the feeling of deja vu? Nothing the fans do makes any difference to Venkys or Kean. All it does is makes the fans more of a target for the lazy mass media. If we were a city club or southern town club, we'd have a lot more sympathy.

Saying that, Glen has been mightily quiet over the last 24 hours or so (good for him, btw, hope he's out Christmas shopping) but, knowing Glen, just maybe there's something afoot.

I was convinced after Saturday, something must change but, for all his ramblings, Mr Maureen might have hit the nail on the head about January...

If Kean is in charge tomorrow night I don't see him ever being removed, and certainly not walking. I honestly worry about some lunatics doing something they shouldn't and bringing shame on the fans and sympathy towards Kean.

As a fanbase we need Venkys to wise up and fast.

They won't.

Well he`s still not gone so I guess he won`t be any time soon. What on earth is going on at our club?

Well that it is it now, any hope the owners had of retrieving this situation and trying to engage with the supporters and get them back onside has gone.

By having no backbone, no idea, blind faith or just loyalty to someone they like - what ever their excuse is, it has alienated them even further from the supporters who in general believed saturday's result would be the turning point for even our owners.

They clearly do not care about this football club, they have told lies to everyone, made false promises to the people who went to Pune, lied to the press, promised to look after us and the club and what do they do? let us down everytime but this must be the worst yet.

They will now, never win the supporters over, we are wasting our games on a man who keeps wasting our chances and leaving us further in the excrement. Do they care that they will always now be hated? or are they just hoping something happens because they haven't got the backbone to admit mistakes and make it happen?

There is only now, one solution to this mess and that is for Venky's to cut all ties with Blackburn Rovers as soon as a chance arises. They have been an absolute disgrace and shown nothing but contempt for this proud football club.

Shame on them - they have failed to act even when the rest of the world has finally woken up and smelt the coffee.

UTTER DISGRACE FROM TOP TO BLOODY BOTTOM

Is it true that Kean told Sky he won't be sacked even if we lose to Bolton?

"I have spoken with the owners for 45 minutes yesterday. There was no suggestion of an ultimatum," said Kean. "We had a real good conversation. We are looking forward to the transfer window opening so we can try and get a couple in who can hit the ground running and make an impact."

pretty much

I wish reporters would follow such comments up with 'You might not be sacked, when will you walk for the sake of the club?'

They don't.

I have come to the end of my tether now, I can't bare to watch/listen to his interviews or read his comments. It just winds me up. I'm a fourth generation loyal supporter who gets behind the team and bleeds blue and white. I don't deserve to be wound up by the guy I'm supposed to look up to as our manager. So I just avoid him now. If this was anything else in my life I would have walked away completely by now because to be this torn apart by a 'hobby' is not worth it.

I genuinely for a while believed Kean to still be in his job solely through the sheer incompetence and negligence of the Rao brothers and that witch who run our club.

But it's gone beyond that now.

He's surely still in his job for other reasons. Reasons that won't come out until we're dead and buried. You don't have a record like Kean's or face the fan pressure that he has and still remain as the manager of the club if there aren't dark forces at work.

Lose to Bolton and he'll still be here. We all know it.

Kill the root, kill the weed. Venky's/Anderson must go.
