  1. 1. Should Steve Kean be sacked

Recommended Posts

Even Jason Roberts is not happy now!!, he has just wrote on twitter, that he is gutted whats happening on the pitch, and shame he can't do anything to help, but that is not his choice!!

Players are turnng on Kean now, come on wake up Venkys and sack him for the good of the club!!

Was it Brian Kidd that called them the rubber dinghy men?

i'd just like to put another theory into the mix , putting aside the damage Kean has done to the club , the pay-off he will receive and just how much ill-feeling we as fans now have for him , it is Christmas , imagine the bad press the Venky's and us as fans would get if the manager is sacked at this time of year , and while we're all baying for blood (and rightly so)there is a human side to all this and for a man , a husband . a father to be sacked 2-3 days before Christmas wouldnt sit well with anybody , perhaps the decision has been made but Mrs D cant bring herself to do it until after the Liverpool game

I'd sack him on Christmas Day. Mrs. Desai et al won't celebrate Christmas so why should she care?

Yes Jason, because if you were starting we'd be much better off wouldn't we

Who cares about any bad press, we have a bad enough reputation as it is.

Oh big bad Blackburn sack poor old Steve just before christmas. **** off.

Who ironically replaced a manager that we got vilified for sacking who himself replaced a manager who we got vilified for sacking..should be water off a ducks back.

unfortunatly i think we will need to get used to the fact he is going no where.

I've said for a few weeks I don't believe he will be sacked at any time. I honestly think we'll finish bottom and he'll still be the manager. Once again, I hope I'm wrong.

Daily Star saying Kean must beat Liverpool and Man Utd to save his job.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/226731/Beat-Man-U-or-you-re-out/

I'd rather Hughes or Souness or Curbishley had those games, and that time, to evaluate and whip the squad into shape in the lead up to our 'winnable' games, as opposed to starting from scratch two weeks down the road.

Is she deaf, mad and blind?

I'm beginning to think that would be a best case scenario.

If she really cares for club (or perhaps I should say her image and reputation), then sell up and admit SHE'S made a mistake...

Have you read her earlier interviews? It'd be an implicit admission that she'd disappoint the memory of her father who demanded that 9/10 decisions be made correctly. She is batting 0/10 with the Rovers.

Pride goeth before the fall.

Was it Brian Kidd that called them the rubber dinghy men?

An apt description of Roberts and his ilk.

Venkys love their clauses, hopefully there is one in keans contract where if they sack him on the 11th hour of christmas eve, all he gets in terms of a pay off is one live chicken and 3 bad eggs.

That's a bit unfair.

What's he going to do with Vince Grella, David Dunn, Jason Roberts and Myles Anderson?!

I'm beginning to think that after we are relegated in Feb/March 2012, Kean will blame the horrendous run of injuries this year. Then, he will say that he has taken lots of positives from this season. He is confident that he will be able to lead us straight back up from the Championship. The bitch in India will lap it all up and back him.

So there you have it, we're stuck with Kean.

I'm seriously considering giving this site, and anything football-related, a miss until Steve Kean is at least sacked. What's the point coming on here anymore? We're all sitting with our head in our hands because there's no way out of this festering mess that Venky's have dumped on the club. I doubt anyone really knows the truth of what's happening behind the scenes. Is Mrs. Desai really a stubborn old mule or simply the figurehead of the real owners? I can't see how anyone with any sense would stand by such a miserable excuse for a manager and risk alienating the populace. The whole situation absolutely reeks of corruption, and while I don't believe fairytales about the Glasgow mafia, there's got to be more to it than what we're hearing. It defies all sense of logic and reason.

With my growing disillusion of modern football, Rovers were my one connection to the game. I might not be a regular at Ewood, for financial reasons, but it hurts me all the same to see what has become of this great club and how no one has the decency or the brains to fix it. And it doesn't help when the majority of the media have a vendetta against us and can't seem to fathom the frustration born from our neglectful owners and their sham of a manager. Instead, it's the passionate, loyal fanbase who incur the wrath of short-sighted 'experts' and self-serving managers and pundits. The people who can't see past their own noses and have no idea of the farce that has pulled this club to its knees. Why should I waste my time putting up with all this madness when there's so many more enjoyable things I could be doing with my time?

got a mate of mine posting that he has just been sacked. cant find anything to prove it though

ignore it. he is playing footy manager and he's just been sacked on that. he thought it was funny

Well, the cheatcode to make yourself sack-proof in next season's FM game must surely be "stevekeanadesai".

This is so frustrating. We're watching our club being systematically beaten and raped, and we can't do anything about it.

That's a bit unfair.

What's he going to do with Vince Grella, David Dunn, Jason Roberts and Myles Anderson?!

He can be nice and give vince, david and jason one egg each...vince will break his straight away (they will all giggle at this)

david will eat his fast as he can meanwhile jason will lick his seductivly trying to get keans attention.

david realises in his haste it was a bad egg he has eaten and in pure anger rips the chicken out of keans hand and rams it up myles andersons backside.

(that wasnt what you were getting at but I didnt know who was the live chicken, it certinatly wasnt dunn or grella)

It's disgusting seeing other managers support the useless clown, but it's understandable.

By praising Kean, they are doing two things:

1)Indirectly praising themselves (if Kean is a good manager, they are great managers)

If Owen Coyle said Steve Kean was crap, what would that say about his own managerial record this season?

2)Helping their own team's cause as they know it will be easier to pick up points vs Rovers if Kean isn't replaced by a real manager.

Anyone can see that Steve Kean is blatantly out of his depth The way he keeps sucking money out of the club is sickening.

yay another transfer window of chasing Ronaldinho and ending up with Myles Anderson.. fan fricking tastic!!

There money would be far better spent on getting a manager in who could actually get the best out of the players we already have and make a couple of shrewd additions through the loan market.
