What do we all see five years down the line?

I see tumbleweed and rust . I feel that if the V's stay then 2 or 3 years from now rovers will be no more. Not drama queening or defeatist but the chicken cluckers need to go.

'Chicken cluckers/ dippers, fat slug, gargoyle head' et al. If your 'humour' contained just a drop of wit, it might be bearable. However, it quite literally is playground stuff.

Try keeping on topic there's a good boy!

Im hoping by some miracle I will win a massive 8 week rollover of the Euro Millions within the next 5 years so I can then purchase Rovers a lot cheaper than what Venkys bought them for as at the rate we are going with Kean in charge, we will deffo be in a lower leagues than we are now. Im predicting a City/Leeds decline if something is not done by our current owners.

Think it could grimmer than that! It's scary and people are more concerned with how the topics worded !

Mind you Ricky half the battle is having attended more than one game!

Problem is Ralfinho, as the new owners have found, being a millionaire just isn't enough in the Prem anymore.

Im talking about 5 years from now, when we are in the lower leagues. My euromillions win would suffice in those leagues. Id rather not do that and it can all be avoided if

1 - the fans in India speak up and tell the Rao's & Mrs D what the MAJORITY of fans feel and want.

2 - Listen to what they have said.

3 - Remove Steve Kean with immediate effect.

4 - Replace him with an experienced PL manager (break the bank if they have to)

But none of the above will happen and thats what is so f'in frustrating as we all sit here and watch and post and moan about it. The level of arrogance from Kean and our owners is ridiculous

Just read Barry White's comments in the Telegraph - we're playing well, Kean is a 'brilliant' manager, there's only a small handful of people protesting and Europe in 3 or 4 years is a realistic prospect.

The banner on the front page next to his picture simply says "Unbelievable!" which very aptly sums it up. I'm fuming, bewildered and saddened all at the same time. They are just bloody clueless.

5 years time from this point?

Worst case scenario (and one I could see happening in the current direction we are heading in):

Year 1- Rovers stick with Kean for the rest of the season and as a result Rovers get relegated. Kean says we are unlucky and vows to get Rovers back into the Premier League.

Year 2- Rovers start their first season back in the Championship with Kean as manager. Venky's vow to stick by the club and say they will give the manager the finances to get back into the Premier League. A lot of talented players leave the club as they feel the Championship is beneath them (players like Robbo, Dann and several others). But some of the wasters on the wage bill who are on big money stay as there aren't teams willing to match their current wages (Pedersen, Dunny and Roberts- who gets a new contract for example). Rovers struggle in a highly competitive league and fail to get promotion either through the playoff spots or automatic qualification. Kean is finally sacked.

Year 3- Rovers begin their second season in the Championship. New manager comes in and finds the job difficult as Rovers have to sell off more of their highly rated prospects from the academy setup. With Rovers once again struggling Venky's begin to lose interest in the club and decide to sell to anyone who is interested. With Rovers being in the Championship it's difficult to find a decent buyer and Rovers end up with a Pompey scenario- an owner without the finances to run a football club. Rovers get relegated down to League One and the manager is sacked.

Year 4- Rovers begin their League One campaign with well publicised financial problems and are threatened with administration if they don't find a buyer quickly. Rovers struggle in League one on the pitch and the financial pressures continue to mount. Rovers enter into adminstration as they fail to get promoted back into the Chamipionship. An administrator comes in and tries to find a buyer for the club but with huge debts and no interest from buyers the club is folded.

Year 5- RIP Blackburn Rovers F.C. 1875-2016

We could possibly have been in Europe this season had they given Sam some money to spend

Year 6 and 7 - Ewood Park is demolished and replaced by a new huge shopping mall specialising in 'Eastern' goods and named Venkys VISION........and......not far away on the playing fields where tomorrows young footballers used to train there has risen the UK 's largest chicken factory where tomorrows lunch is reared.

All brought to you courtesy of Venkys VISION

That's the problem. If we go down it's not just a case of 'can we get back up?'. There are other factors which quickly make it a downward spiral that is very difficult to get out of. Just look at the Sheffield clubs, Forest, Southampton, Leicester, Norwich, Leeds, Bradford, Charlton etc. all of whom have dropped through the Championship into League One and faced severe financial hardship on the way.

Looking at us compared to those clubs above, we possess neither the fanbase nor the potential for a new owner to come in and invest in us. There would be no Ken Bates like at Leeds, no Liebherr at Southampton, no Mandaric and wealthy Thai consortia like at Leicester. No supporters owning the club like at Norwich and Forest which would guarantee to keep the club afloat. I could realistically see us 'doing a Bradford' and plummeting through the football leagues. Be rest assured that we would not be getting 10,000 a week on Ewood if we were 3rd bottom of League Two though.

I was one of the first to say it was time for the Trust to sell up and go. They had no interest in the club and that has shown by offloading us to a bunch of completely clueless Indians. But at least with John Williams running the ship you had the confidence that in the event of relegation that at very least the club would remain solvent. Ok we might struggle on the pitch but you could still go down to Ewood and be proud of the players and club. Not any more. I'm trying to work out who I detest more - Steve Kean or the Venky family.
